Overall stay was subpar. After first night in the hostel, had to switch to a private room because my roommate was rude and inconsiderate. She ignored me when I greeted her and watched T.V. on her phone all night without headphones. The next day, switched to a private room. Front desk was happy to switch me to a private room, however had difficulty determining how much to charge me. Subsequently charged me twice for “taxes” because stated they “undercharged” me. Do not understand why front desk had difficulty determining cost of taxes for the room, should not be up to the guest to determine the cost. Had difficulty sleeping despite having a private room. Most guest were loud and inconsiderate. Slamming doors at all hours of the night, blasting music. Do not plan on ever returning. Do not recommend!

Hello L6852WFjennyk, I am very sorry to read that you did not have a good stay and would like to apologize. We generally do not have issues with roommates in our shared rooms or with noise, and I wish we could have done something to help with this and to make your stay comfortable. I completely understand regarding our confusion on the billing. We have just transferred to a new Hotel computer system and were in the process of learning some final points in transferring costs. I appreciate you bearing with us there and apologize for any inconvenience surrounding this. We are happy to clear anything up further if needed. Once again, our apologies, we would love to invite you back for a future stay, I hope we get the chance to give you a better experience.

Hotel's Favorite
The hotel is quite central, in a quiet neighbourhood. I was particularly amazed by the hotel staff. I had an issue with my reservation and I needed a last moment change with they did without even questioning. I would definitely stay there again once in San Francisco. Thank you guys for making my trip smooth!

Good service, great rooms, everything clean and organized. The only thing was that there are few bathrooms, and the comom area is not so big, but I did not have any problems about that. In general, I would definetly come back!
