Willows Inn was an ideal base for my recent week long visit to SF. Conveniently situated just off Market Street with easy access to Metro and street car transport and in an area packed with cafes and a nearby branch of Wholefoods, this was a...More
40 y/o husband/father: Our stay at the Willows was great. 2 room suite was spacious and well-maintained. Bathrooms and showers were down the hall, but individual and never full. Staff were friendly and helpful, and rates were reasonable, especially given how expensive San Francisco is....More
The place is charming and convenient. The hosts are outstanding! Perfect balance of friendly, informative, warm, professional, and unobtrusive. A flourishing commercial area that acts as San Francisco's LGBT community center and cultural heart, the Castro is a neighborhood welcome to everyone. As one of the first predominantly LGBT neighborhoods in the United States and currently its largest, it remains one of the epicenters of activism in the nation. Grand theaters and glitzy shops now compete with bars and fashionable eateries for attention,
drawing visitors from around the world to the bright rainbow flag acting as its beacon.
