I really enjoyed staying in the white swan inn for two nights. Everything is walking distance, close to China town, Italy town, and all the shopping stores! Staffs were very helpful. If you are wine lover like me, there’s happy hours that serves with cheese and wine.🥂 I would highly recommend, and I would definitely stay here.
We stayed at the White Swan Inn for a quick weekend in the city. The hotel was perfect! So cute and cozy with a British theme. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had our evening wine and nibbles in the library room with the fireplace going each night. We were the only ones in there, which was nice since we stayed during Covid. The breakfast was exactly what we expected, and we were able to enjoy that in our room. The hotel was clean, there was hand sanitizer on every floor and masks being worn by all. We stayed in the King room with a fireplace. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. We loved it! The location is perfect for walking around SF. It's close to Union Square, Nob Hill, North Beach, Chinatown and the Cable Cars (when they are back up and running)! We will definitely be coming back to this hotel! …
Went to see holiday lights in Union Square and to support during covid. This hotel now my personal favorite. Casual clean and classy. Wonderful man who works morning and includes a sweet haiku hour and breakfast in their cozy parlor. Very walkable. They even left a sweet note and chocolate for my daughters birthday. Only downside is my window got smashed out side across the street. I want saving money by using meter instead of secure parking. Beware car thieves out in full force right now especially during lock down. This was no fault of hotel but I recommend not being a cheap skate like me and find secure parking and don’t leave anything that looks valuable in car. Enough about that! Our king suite was spacious and cozy. Fireplace and plenty of beverages in fridge. Bonus points for serving Equator coffee my favorite. I will stay again in a heartbeat !…
What a great place to have a staycation. Fire place was hot, the bathroom was clean and modern and they had a robe for me when i checked in. i ordered clam chowder from chowder hut and watched a 30 Rock marathon on the tv. A great way to spend the evening.
I do love this hotel; not many rooms, so you won't see the crowd. The staff was friendly and I appreciate their patience to teach me how to operate the old fashioned elevator ^_^. It's fun to experience this manual elevator. Room was clean and big enough for me; but the bathroom was a little smaller. I didn't join the wine event, so I have no comments about it. Here is a few things that I would like to suggest: 1. Breakfast: I appreciate the convenient food. However, I would like to suggest if you can add a little protein? It's important when your breakfast includes some proteins. Don't need to be fancy; just a scrambled egg or boiled egg would make the breakfast perfect. 2. Fireplace: I was excited about it, however, the fireplace in my room was broken. And I was expecting that the hotel could have fixed it before I came back from my day trip. I was a little disappointed. Do hope to have a functional fireplace when I visit next time. 3. Food delivery: It's very inconvenient that I had to come down stairs to get my food from the delivery person, as they said nobody answered the door. I think the hotel need to find a solution for this, as the food delivery is pretty common in these days, so if the front desk staff can't receive it for your guests, I feel it's inconvenient personally. Anyway, we did have a good time staying at this hotel, and do hope to visit again soon.…
