My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on vacation. We had stayed 2 nights in Carmel and 1 night in Calistoga (Napa Valley), so going from that to the hustle and bustle of a big city was kind of a big adjustment. Pros: The rooms were nice. The beds were comfortable. There's no A/C (typical for that area),... More

Stayed here for a conference at the Convention Center. Not a bad walk to the Convention Center. Right near the Trolley line and Chinatown. We took advantage of the free sherry, which was accompanied by music one of the days. Coffee was a little strong but nice that it was included, with OJ and hot water for tea. Very pleasant... More

50 mts from Union Square, the Kensington Park is an old hotel in a very good shape. With Kindly staff and clean rooms is an affordable option for living the pulse of San Francisco. No frigobar and small rooms could be the cons.

The location of this hotel is great, around the corner from Union Square and close to a trolly stop on Powell. About 2 miles to Fisherman's wharf. The hotel was quaint, bed comfortable and the staff was helpful. Would stay there again next time in San Fran.

There is much to commend this downtown hotel, as many of the other reviews attest. As always, we found it on tripadvisor. We were very pleased with our room on the top floor with a terrific view of the city. The main problem resulted when a wedding party arrived and occupied the suite opposite. All day and night there was... More

Hotel lobby is very atmospheric with loads of character. Extremely vintage but with a modern twist. Great welcome by reception staff. Rooms are beautiful. Very homely with the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Bathroom is huge! We stayed on 10th floor and had a fantastic view of the city. Have no complaints about the room. Everything we needed was...
