I had decided for the region and checking reviews and pictures gained confidence. Stayed with the family during Thanksgiving holidays and the positive aspects are: excellent breakfast when compared to chains like Best Western, Holiday Inn, La Quinta; bathroom and room are new; offers transportation to Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf, two locations you'll be there more than once; buses...

The walk to the hotel can be a little unsettling at first but when you arrive you'll find this hotel to be really good. The nearby streets have great value food and drinks. The hotel has free WiFi and breakfast included. Buses and street cars nearby can get you to all the tourist locations downtown. My TV remote control was...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with friends, as part of our trip across America and we enjoyed our stay. Service: We arrived early so our room wasn't yet available but the reception staff gladly stored our luggage in a secure room for us and gave us a sheet to show them when claiming it back later detailing...

We stayed here when in holiday in San Francisco for three days. I don't actually know how much the hotel was as we booked a all in one with several flights and hotels. The first impression we got of the hotel wasn't great, because we walked from the metro station to the hotel which was six blocks away, but we passed...

We stayed in the Cova Hotel in S.F. for three nights during our West Coast road trip in June 2012. The hotel lies in Tenderloin, which isn’t the best location in S.F, but you can reach almost every S.F. attraction walking. We saw some drug deals on the street and some people looked pretty aggressive. The hotel itself is clean...

Location: TENDERLOIN! High homeless population on the hotels door step. OK it's safe to walk down the street during the day, HOWEVER, you will walk past a number of homeless people a long the...

My husband and I booked this hotel because the description said it was close to Union Square. (Wrong!) I had read that it was not in the best location but that you would be fine. WRONG! Hi Lindsie S, Thank you for staying at the Cova Hotel recently and we appreciate your time in sharing your experience with us. Our neighborhood is a very popular and unique part of San Francisco. There are homeless shelters a couple of blocks away from the property which we advise to all our guests. Though there is little we could...
