Arrived to the hotel on Monday 18th the person in the front desk was pretty good she took my information down and the payment. She saw me with my dog and yet she did not asked any questions since this isn’t a pet friendly hotel, maybe she assumed gi was a service animal which is fine. Two days after one of the manager saw me and started asking her employees about the paperwork (yelling at them in a very unprofessional manner). The room was fairly clean but it did not have internet. I let the front desk know they send a technician within 30 minutes, he tried to fix the issue, changed the internet box like 3 times and left. I still didn’t have internet. Next day I went to the front desk with the same issue, they sent a different technician, he replaced the modern again also the tv and left he said he was going to be back and never did. Nobody followed up with me, I was without internet for 5 days. I had to go back to the front desk to ask for a solution, they offered me to move to another room, I did. Next day I was walking through the lobby with my dog and a kid ran into us and my dog started barking because he was afraid, one of the manager her name is Christy I believe she looked at me as if I was a criminal in front of everyone. 30 minutes after someone knocked on my room door very hard I though there was an emergency, it was this manager Cristy (I believe that’s her name) she didn’t even introduce herself and very rudely told me that my son needed to leave the hotel, I told her he wasn’t a pet but and emotional support animal and he wasn’t going anywhere, so she told me that we both needed to leave the hotel or she was going to call the police, all of this in a very unprofessional and unethical manner. I showed her the documents and she said they didn’t mean anything and when I told that what she was doing was illegal she turned her back on me and left. Obituary she didn’t call the police (maybe she did a little bit of research) I unfortunately this doesn’t end here. It’s been a week since the housekeeper went to my room even though I’ve been requesting it in the front desk for 4 days now. On Wednesday I waited in the lobby from 9am to 1pm nobody went to clean the room and today, July 30,2022 I left the room this morning after advising the front desk that the dog wasn’t going to be in the room to please go to find out at 1:30pm that it wasn’t clean, I went again to the front desk and turned out they had me under a different room number in the system, it’s almost 3pm and I’m still in the lobby waiting for my room to be cleaned, some fresh sheets and towels (is it too much? I didn’t honk so) I don’t know what to believe anymore, I just feel like I’ve been discriminated against I don’t feel happy or safe in this hotel and the service/treatment has been not only horribly bad but unfortunate and unfair. Everyone know who I am because I’m the only person with an emotional support animal staying in this oweful hotel right now in case someone wants to contact me and I hope there are no retaliations against me (or at least more based on my experience)

Very disappointed in this hotel. The pool was closed and they didn't let you know before check in. We stayed here because they had a pool. Second told us we had adjoining rooms....nope. Third no room service, we were traveling with young children and didn't want to go out. We were able to order and run down and pick it up. Food was pricey and not great. The lobster salad sandwich was a good value. Finally, a member of our group was harassed by drunken wedding guests while going to the lobby and at the elevator. She was frightened. They need to have security visible when these large events get out.

We stayed here for a funeral. We are Marriott Elite members, so we do try to stay at Marriotts when we can. The location is good and I really enjoyed the breakfast. That's about it for the good. Our room's air conditioner wasn't working. We were told someone would come out to fix it, but that never happened. I finally asked them to switch our room as it was not comfortable at 78 degrees. No idea how they didn't know the air conditioner wasn't working. The conditioner bottle wasn't filled which seems like a basic thing for housekeeping to check. To top it off, the pool was closed and the lunch/dinner was not good.

The worst Marriott experience that I’ve ever had. I am a Marriott Ambassador Level Guest and I haven’t ever had a more rude experience than the encounter I had at this hotel. I called to check with the front desk to see if my room was ready for an early check. Instead of being greeted with warmth and kindness the lady at the front desk berated me, and accused me of falsely using a Marriott discount code( my stay was made with my hard earned points!)and of not being an Ambassador. She said I had stayed there before and that I didn’t deserve to be an Ambassador, that I didn’t deserve any special treatment! I had and have never set foot on this property, nor will I after this abysmal treatment. No one deserves this kind of treatment! Certainly not someone as loyal to the Marriott brand as I am. There is no excuse for such rudeness. This employee is the face of the hotel and the Marriott brand. I have never felt more uncomfortable or unwelcome than I have after this incident. Inexcusable!

Very well-appointed, modern rooms, large bathrooms, great meeting space catering. My only complaint was that I came down late one evening to get fresh towels for my room and the front desk associate rolled her eyes and sighed because housekeeping was already closed and she would have to search for towels. Another associate was coming to the front at the same time and I believe she saw her reaction and volunteered to grab them for me. I was shocked and puzzled by this behavior, but didn’t say anything because the other associate went above and beyond to remedy. Considering housekeeping now comes at request only and some of us are still figuring that out, you might want to leave extra toiletries and towels somewhere assessible to the front desk so the staff doesn’t have to go far too find them for guests in need - and most importantly - not be annoyed by such a simple request.

No charge for parking, check in super smooth, I was even offered a water while waiting. Plus the concierge lounge was actually open. (Some Marriott properties still have them closed) Had dinner at the restaurant and was very happy with food plus service. Will stay again.

Almost didn’t stay because of reviews. Had to be there for a convention and weather was going to be bad. So took a chance and booked a nights stay. Everything was wonderful from the front desk, the fabulous rooms, dinner in the restaurant and the convention the next day. Next year will book a room even if the weather is fine

I My husband , daughter, and I have always loved the Marriott in Quincy and have stayed there so often when visiting friends & family that we have called it “our home away from home.” That ended after our December 22-28 of 2021. On our first day, expecting one king room and one double queen room for our daughter, we discovered that we had two king rooms. Our daughter’s room had zero heat, with room temperatures in the 50’s. It took what we considered an excessive amount of time to resolve that. But it didn’t end there. Despite being told that no hotel employee would be coming into our room due to Covid safety measures, we discovered that the maid had come into our room while we were out. When we questioned hotel staff about it, we were told that the maid frequently comes to work on the room”to be nice.” We did not want anyone coming into our room, and do not consider that to be”nice.” We were out for the evening on Christmas Eve, and returned to find the hotel lobby dark. Some of the guests in the lobby thought that this was due to a power problem in the lobby area. No hotel employee spoke to us as we passed by en route to our room. When we got there, we discovered that the power was completely out… No electricity, no heat. We called the front desk and were told that the power was out. Gee, it would’ve been nice if someone had mentioned that to us before wback to the room! We spent the evening in our room in the dark, but eventually did receive a Flashlight from staff. On Christmas morning, the power came on but there was NO HOT WATER! We called downstairs to the front desk to report this, and were told that someone would be coming up to fix the problem. The front desk was unaware that others were without hot water. We called back, spoke to another person and asked if anyone else had reported a similar issue, and we were told that yes, several people had done so. It was clear that this was a systemwide problem that was not going to be fixed. Additionally, there was no Internet. No TV, either, until later on. Not being able to properly shower prior to gathering with family whom we had not seen in two years due to COVID was the absolute worst! Add to that, the increasingly cold temperature of 62° in the room, which made it even worse. I was wearing both of my coats to keep warm in the room. When we returned to the hotel on Christmas night, we asked if the hot water was working. The employee on the desk was unaware that there was a hot water program problem. Communication between management and staff was clearly lacking. My husband asked to speak to a manager and got absolutely nowhere. Same thing the following day. The manager was actually yelling at us, and we found her very rude. The one bright light in this horrible experience was this: the 3 bellmen and 3 of the desk clerks were lovely, helpful, and deserving of praise. Unfortunately, they could do nothing for us to help, but we made sure to recognize the employees who were actually trying to do a good job when we contacted Corporate. Attempts to contact the District Manager resulted in complete failure. This was an experience unlike any other we have had at the Quincy Boston Marriott. I feel very sad about what I useduu to consider my “home away from home” in its mismanaged, disastrously lacking-in-communication state.

Rude unprofessional staff. I would under no circumstances return to this hotel. Don’t expect anything to go smooth check in to restaurant. After reading some of the other reviews I am surprised Marriott allows this to continue. Based on my opinion based on my and family members experiences.
