I stayed there to be close to where family was, but the area did not offer much. The hotel was nice, but the area was not close to much. I had to go downstairs to order from the restaurant, and ended up taking the food to the room because it was too crowded. I walked around the hotel to wait for my food only to come back and hear that they didn't have something else from my order and I had to pick a substitution and go wait again. Most of the staff was professional. The room quality was good. Comfortable bed. the space was a little tight but comfortable enough

Worst service ever. I was denied check-in even tho I had a prepaid reservation made well in advance and Gold Elite status at Marriott. No remedy was offered, no apology, no consolation points, nothing, instead they paid no attention to me after telling me that my reservation was cancelled and they have no rooms available (clearly not the case... it's an enormous hotel and they could bump someone else just as easily), also I overheard the manager was screaming disrespectfully at other guests in the same situation a bit more frustrated than me. Imagine coming for leisure to a foreign place/country arriving at your hotel hoping for a good nights sleep only to be told nope we are not honoring our end of the contract (guaranteed reservations are contracts). Tried to contact Marriott Bonvoy, they were equally unhelpful but at least extending a verbal apology, more than Marriott at Quincy was capable of. For context: I come every week to Boston, I stay about 100 nights a year in various hotels. I do prefer Hilton, but I gave this one a shot. Wish I hadn't! I never had such problems elsewhere. This hotel definitely has something wrong with its management. I will not bring my business here for sure, not even in the winter months when every hotel in this area is desperate for guests.

The physical plant was nice enough; however, the staff was truly disappointing, rude and insulting. The hotel started to feel strange even before I checked in. The morning of my check-in day I called about the shuttle from the Quincy Adams MBTA Station. The clerk at the desk said we will drop you off but we won't pick you up. That turned out to be totally untrue. When I checked in, the same clerk was very rude. When I entered my room, which was very nice, I tried to turn on the refrigerator. It was broken and I called the check in desk. Heather sent the maintenance guy who was thoroughly disgusting. He was all homosexual innuendo including "Suck!" However, he was outmatched a couple of hours later when another front desk clerk used insulting, foul language and topped it all off with "You are a polite, little *ag!" In addition, the plunger in the basin in the bathroom would not seal. This morning I went downstairs at 5:30 AM and told the Front Desk that I would need the shuttle at 7AM. I checked out shortly before 7. Although the shuttle was sitting outside, Michael, the Front Desk Manager, gave me a snide remark and told me that the driver was not yet on premises. After a few more calls on my part, he was eventually coaxed into the van. Although the hotel is quite nice and comfortable, the staff apparently chooses the guests which it will respect and graciously help. I felt like I a paying guest treated like worthless garbage.

Stayed recently at this super busy Marriott for a soccer tournament. Hotel was nicely appointed. The front desk check in was okay but I would expect more. My status wasn't acknowledged and the concierge lounge isn't open on the weekend. I had to ask for breakfast in lieu of the lounge being closed (it wasn't offered). The rooms were nice BUT the controls are horrible. You set it at a comfortable range at night 68 for example, and it reverts to the pre-set 72 in the middle of the night which makes it uncomfortable and wakes you up to set it back to the original number. Positives: The breakfast staff was awesome. I mean really awesome and there were lots of choices hot and cold. The pool was also very nice and the area was super clean thanks to the great attendant. Bottom line: It was an okay stay but for the money and the weekend amenities probably would stay at Aloft or similar Marriott property (free parking) if I was in the area again.

Not bad, not 5-star ⭐️ It was an average hotel. Nothing spectacular. Rooms were fine. I was on the 6th floor with views of the Boston skyline. Bathroom was small but efficient. I have to say they have excellent bathroom lighting. All women will appreciate that. We need great lighting for makeup and hair, and this hotel had great bathroom lighting. Communal shampoo/conditioner/shave gel in the shower, which I loathe. So gross! The rooms are modern-ish. Coffee maker in the room. The hotel only has 1 restaurant/bar and the menu is limited. The staff is nice and friendly. Parking is $15/day. Internet is also $15/day. I was here for a 2-day work meeting, so I didn’t spend too much time in the hotel or the room. Would I stay again!? Only if I had to.

We were in town for a funeral. The check in was ok. The person did have a smile but there was no information given about the bar, restaurant, or even location of ice machines. The room smelled of smoke and we immediately called the front desk. They informed us there weren't any other rooms available and that the hotel is non-smoking. We explained that something had to be done because both myself and daughter have asthma and we couldn't sleep in there. They finally mentioned having it refreshed; which was appreciated. After leaving for several hours we returned to a "refreshed" room. The smoke sent was more faint but still there. We had traveled all day and it was late so we didn't worry about it. My husband had an issue with parking and found out they had switched our room and didn't tell us. Mind you we are upstairs in the room we checked in. The lady went back and forth with him on his room mentioning it was in the system. So when he returned to our room and called her she said she would change it. Lastly house keeping changed out the towels and didn't leave any wash cloths. I'm not sure if they were low or just rushing but that was not ok. We were here 3 days but spent only about 24-30 hours in total which includes sleeping. I rank a 3 because the hotel is nice and staff seems friendly but there is potential for improvement and making it a 5

A friend of mine and I stayed 1 night in this hotel because of a JiuJitsu competition that was happening near by. We payed a total of $300!!! ($284 to be exact +$15PARKING) AND THEY WONT EVEN SERVE BREAKFAST, UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $30. I understand I am in the ““Boston area”” but this absurd price is nonsense. Room looked nice but the bed and bathroom smelled funny (in a bad way). I don’t recommend staying here unless you don’t mind a whole in your wallet with no benefits just a bed for 12 hours (checked in at 10 pm and check out at 11am). Complete nonsense guys, find a better hotel. PS: Horrible view
