We just spent two nights here in room 9 and absolutely loved every single bit of our stay at the Primrose. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Sweet ladies that keep that place running are amazing. Breakfast and tea snacks...WOW! Accommodations well kept, clean, cozy and just lovely. Loved our room with a large porch and porch swing...only downside were...

Primrose has it all: lovely rooms, convenient location, warm and hospitable owners, and delicious breakfasts. It's an easy stroll to downtown Bar Harbor, and perfectly situated to take off for other parts of the island. The common rooms and porches are comfortable places to read and relax. Our room was charming and spotless. One very small issue in the room was...

Charming Inn with lovely staff. Typical New England Style decor in room, wrap around porches, shame it was raining. Free soft drinks, water & snacks, use of refrigerator, coffee in dining room. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast & home made cakes, complimentary afternoon cake & cup of tea/coffee. Lots of information on places to visit, loan of CD for the Acadia...

When it comes to 5 star places to stay...this place gets a 6. Its clear Melissa works very hard to care for her guests and the staff she has assembled delivers a tremendous accommodation. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and we slept like rocks. The inns spares nothing when it comes to your comfort. The breakfasts were fantastic and the...

Mary welcomed us to Primrose Inn and showed us around. So many homely touches it's difficult to know where to begin. Extremely clean and the softest sheets I have ever slept in. Excellent location, a short walk into town. Breakfast delicious, extras such as in room DVD player, drinks always available, elegant spacious period room. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed late Sep / early Oct at Primrose Inn. Late check-in was not a problem - they have someone on duty until 10pm and someone that lives on -site for later check ins. The room was very comfortable and well laid out. We would definitely recommend it.

We were so pleased with everything about our stay! Location is great. Out of the hustle and bustle but easy walk to everything. We stayed in room 10. Very nice. Bathroom small but that is expected in a B/B. Very clean and attractive decor. Theresa was great and Maureen available during evening hours. Breakfast delicious with great coffee! The afternoon...

My wife and I just 4 nights in room 16 at the Primrose B&B in Bar Harbor. The location was about 1/2 mile from downtown and very conveniently located to enter Acadia NP. This was perhaps the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The room was very roomy and modern with an adjacent sitting room. Plenty of easy access...

Having never been to Maine we had many choices when it came to B&B's and I'm glad we chose Primrose Inn! It's a perfect location with a nice easy walk into town and simple to get out to Acadia National Park. Quiet area even though it is on Mt. Desert Drive, away from the bustle of downtown. Parking spots are...

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. They have a great breakfast and some of the softest sheets we've ever slept on. Our only gripe was that the website hypes up the tea time when it's really just a baked good serving with self serve tea bags and hot water. Don't expect full service tea,...
