My wife and I just 4 nights in room 16 at the Primrose B&B in Bar Harbor. The location was about 1/2 mile from downtown and very conveniently located to enter Acadia NP. This was perhaps the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The room was very roomy and modern with an adjacent sitting room. Plenty of easy access... More

Having never been to Maine we had many choices when it came to B&B's and I'm glad we chose Primrose Inn! It's a perfect location with a nice easy walk into town and simple to get out to Acadia National Park. Quiet area even though it is on Mt. Desert Drive, away from the bustle of downtown. Parking spots are... More

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. They have a great breakfast and some of the softest sheets we've ever slept on. Our only gripe was that the website hypes up the tea time when it's really just a baked good serving with self serve tea bags and hot water. Don't expect full service tea,... More

Thank you to Melissa our Innkeeper and Maureen our greeter and terrific advisor. The Primrose Inn is a delightful B&B from start to finish - we spent two very relaxing days there after a trip to Prince Edward Island. The inn is so well cared for and it was a delight just sitting on the front porch and having a... More

Stayed at Primrose Inn in late July. Such a wonderful experience! Beautiful home with lovely antique décor, but all the luxuries of modern life. Utmost detail went into creating a memorable stay for us guests, from the impeccably kept rooms & premises, to the hearty welcome from Melissa and her team, who make you feel like family. Breakfast is included... More

Very clean and efficiently run. Morning breakfast and afternoon tea home made and delicious. Impressed by the offering of coffee, tea, water soda 24/7. On main road but you can't hear the traffic when inside. Would highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Primrose. The Holland Room is huge with a separate sitting room which we used as a dressing area. Designated parked Was a real bonus as well. All of the communal areas are cosy and tasteful. We loved the wraparound porch with the rockers. Breakfast was really nice with a sweet or a savoury choice... More

This was our second stay at the Primrose and we couldn't have been happier. Cute rooms, amaaaazing breakfasts and afternoon snacks, lots of little extras like DVDs and audio tour guides to borrow, a beautiful porch to sit outside, your own numbered parking space, and walking distance to town! Room prices vary by size, so if it's a stretch for... More
