My wife and I visited Bar Harbor in October. The Primrose Inn was recommended by our travel agent and we've always been happy with their advice. This was no different. The welcome was warm. The rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. The little extras offered such as dvds, etc were just icing on the cake. The location is convenient for the...

We loved our 3 nights stay in Primerose Inn. Beautiful house and lovely room. Good breakfast served by the honor who is a very nice lady. Every afternoon there is a fresh baked cake, cookies, coffee and tea. Helpful staff and centrally located to both the town and the Acadia park. It was one of our best B&B. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one week at the height of the Bar Harbor high season in this absolutely charming inn, located in the heart of Bar Harbor. From check-in to check-out, staff ensured a perfect visit. The historic building, restored to its former glory, lacks no modern conveniences, and is quite possibly the most immaculately clean establishment we've ever seen! Innkeeper/owner...

Very friendly and welcoming b&b. Our rooms were very good. Spacious, nice, clean and with good lighting. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only slight issue was that breakfast was just okay. Not great. I would have liked breakfast to be better with more selection and good home made cooking.

I can't say enough about our stay at the Primrose. The house and grounds are immaculately kept and our room was perfect - large and roomy, yet very comfortable. And everything was spotless. The entire staff was very accommodating and we've never seen a more organized B&B with every little detail taken care of. And the breakfast choices were highly...

A short stroll to Main St. The staff was pleasant and easy going. Breakfast was excellent and sufficient. The sheets on the bed were 600 Cotton wrinkle free and felt heavenly. Great location to get in and out. Highly recommend.

Primrose has it all: lovely rooms, convenient location, warm and hospitable owners, and delicious breakfasts. It's an easy stroll to downtown Bar Harbor, and perfectly situated to take off for other parts of the island. The common rooms and porches are comfortable places to read and relax. Our room was charming and spotless. One very small issue in the room was...
