Old captain's home; very New England with a welcoming porch. Queen size room is on the small side, but definitely adequate. They have a computer/printer nook on the first floor, a book nook, and coffee/tea and lovely muffins & pastries for breakfast. During the winter, the first floor suite is used as a lounge; very comfortable with a TV, table...

We had a room downstairs with King bed and full bath that was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is "vintage" with 18 rooms, and lots of charm. They have coffee and pastries in the morning...and a fabulous location. We could walk everywhere, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Acadia Hotel over Veterans Day weekend. We would recommend it to anyone and are planning on returning again. Service was fantastic, rooms were beautiful and clean, and it is the perfect location to town. Peter was extremely helpful and guided us on trails at the park and local recommendations.

Our stay at Acadia Hotel was absolutely perfect! We arrived in the early evening and were greeted by Peter, who was a fantastic host during our entire stay. He provided lots of tips for getting around, as well as great suggestions for local food and scenic spots. The hotel is so cozy and provides the feel of staying with friends...

This hotel is in a great location in downtown Bar Harbor. We stayed in the Dorr Mountain Suite with friends - the suite was spacious with a seating area and a dining table for 4 people - and a lovely (sunny) balcony. The bedrooms were not huge and little hanging space, but the beds were comfortable and it was very...

Stayed here for a week in October. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. A bonus for us was the 40A Tesla charging point at the side of the hotel, with its own reserved parking spot. Lots of small extras provided that we did not use such as loaner bikes, hot tub, etc. Not cheap, but a good stay.

This hotel makes you feel at home. There was a fire pit burning on the wrap around porch along with heaters and comfy wicker furniture. The front door was always open and there was a water and lemonade station set up on the porch for guests. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in downtown Bar Harbor and also...

I can't say enough good things about Acadia Hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed there for 2 nights in mid September. First off, we were fortunate to receive an upgrade to the Cadillac Mountain suite which had 2 enormous rooms and had a large balcony. Peter checked us in and gave us his recommendations for restaurants in Bar Harbor and...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in October to enjoy the Fall and explore Acadia National Park. It's an excellent hotel in a superb location almost exactly opposite the village green with all Bar Harbor has to offer right on the door step. The room was clean, tidy and very well presented. The bed was particularly comfortable.
