This was our second time visiting Acadia and second time staying here and it did not disappoint fir the $105/night we paid. Nothing fancy, a great place to sleep, yet many things at your disposal at ni cost. Nightly group campfires, pool to cool down, and grills to use if you'd rather enjoy a meal not on the town. A great "momams pop" feel and right down the road from Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was perfect...again!
Not bad, not good, did its' job. It is located a few miles from the downtown Bar Harbor and provides very basic room/service as a motel. The bathroom was very small. Not value for money; breakfast is not included.
If you’re looking for a hotel with a lot of bells and whistle‘s this place is not for you. It is clean and quiet. And the staff was very helpful. It’s very close to the national park and Acadia absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks
I purely enjoyed this little place ! Very family oriented, great amenities, clean, staff was great, other guest were super friendly. For my husband and I it was the perfect little hub to stay. We are not one to sit in our hotel room on vacation. We just need a spot to sleep. I just could not get over how clean it was!!! The sheet smell super duper good!!!! Not sure what they used to clean them put it was super nice. All the linens smelled super awesome! These people take great pride in what they do and it shows.
If you want fancy this is not the place, but it is very clean. I have no complaints. The staff was friendly, the rooms really clean but small. The bathroom toilet and shower are not exactly big person friendly lol. You could see the sun come up through the cracks around the door. We had the back stretch which is highly recommended not as close to road, and honestly not much road noise at all. They allow pets and have a fires going every night. It was a great little local place to stay without the frills. Great place to rest your head but not to hang out all day. I would go back with no hesitation and would recommend!
This little gem is run by people who have thought of everything to make your stay a wonderful experience. We stayed here because we were traveling with our pet, and our stay was wonderful! The rooms are ample in size and packed with extras: a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board…everything you might need. There is a place to do laundry on site which was a plus for us because we had been traveling for two weeks. The bed was very comfortable, there was air conditioning, which sounds like a given, but up in this area, there are no guarantees. There is a pool and fire pit, too!! We had no issues with noise from fellow travelers or the road. We would stay again if in Bar Harbor. This budget friendly accommodation allowed us to splurge on meals and adventures. It was everything that we needed!…
We traveled here with a family of a 4 and a small dog. The rooms are very very tiny. Cleanliness was below average. I booked on the bring Fido app and think I was overcharged in comparison to what others were paying. Our room was dated, the floor was slanted, it was dark and close to the road noise. We pulled out early and left a non-refundable night on the table. The family was grumpy and tired at that point. The reviews here are very overstated for what you get. Might be ok for a night to lay your head ....but for a family vacation with more than 2 people, you will not be comfortable.
A good stay without in town pricing. The rooms are basic but very clean. While the room is small it is well kept and quiet. Hotel has a nice pool area and a fire pit for use at night. Check in and out were friendly.
The rooms are small and basic but clean and comfy. The staff is exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help us with an issue not related to our stay. The laundry facility was clean and affordable. They even had a campfire in the evening for guests to enjoy. I would definitely stay here again.
We were pleased with the room. It is small, but very clean and warm. We just need a bed and bathroom whenever we stay in a motel, so this was fine. If you want a large room then look elsewhere. We prefer to patronize privately owned businesses and this one was great!!
