While searching for a campground for our trip to the Bar Harbor area, we decided on the Oceanside KOA over the woodland KOA based on it's location and being situated by the water. We were not disappointed at all with the view. Sunsets over the bay were amazing at night. We had a nice corner site that gave us somewhat... More

We tent camped in site 405, which I think is the prettiest site in the campground. The sunsets are amazing! However, be forewarned: people were constantly walking through our site to get to the rocks by the water, & unfortunately, we had a skunk in our site 2 nights in a row! My husband informed the office when we left.... More

This is the second year we have camped here with our 2 families. The kids absolutely love to tide pool. The amenities are nice and what you would expect of a KOA. We decided to try the deluxe cabins this year. Very nice cabins. Not a lot of hot water and the boys were sent to use the public showers.... More

We had an amazing view of Mt. Desert Narrows that anyone would be hard-pressed to beat. Loved the spacious campsite, fire ring, access to all locations on the island. Staff was friendly. Area was clean and well-cared-for. The only problem we encountered was with the showers. They seemed to run icy cold or scalding hot. Dangerous for those of us... More

Great location on Mount Desert Island. Only minutes from just about everything. The staff was great. Pool was clean. The Deluxe Cabins were nicer than anticipated; clean and in good repair. Plenty of room for everyone. The only problem we had was a gas grill didn't work properly the staff took care of it within a 1/2 hour.

This is a great "beginner" campground, perfect for families. Clean bathrooms and showers with a well-stocked general store and playground. We had a basic site (fire pit equipped with a grate for cooking, picnic table, and a private water spigot - no hookups). For the three of us in our tent we had everything we needed for a relaxing two... More

We had a tent for two days and the spots are pretty big, I mean that you have enough space, a fire ring, water and electricity, The bathrooms and the site were clean. You are close to a lot of hikes. Nothing that amazed me, but exactly what we were looking for. It's also very cheap.

First, Bar Harbor is one of the most beautiful places in the world! We decided to stay in a camp ground so we could enjoy the nights sitting by a camp fire. We are not your traditional campers so we like the comforts of home. The cabin had everything you needed and slept 5 adults comfortably. The next time we... More

Brought the family here for a long weekend. The location is good, about 10-15 mins from Acadia, Bar Harbor, etc. and close to decent restaurants, stores, etc. We rented a luxury cabin and the other party with us rented a site for their camper. Our cabin was pretty nice, fridge, microwave, TV, air conditioned, spacious, with room for 5 to... More

amazing stay at the oceanside KOA in bar harbor maine. This is one of the quietest campgrounds we have ever stayed at . The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and available. The scenery was to die for with ocean sites beautiful views and access to the beach.
