Our first experience at the Coach Stop...and hopefully not our last. Here's what's good...the hosts are wonderfully welcoming, their gourmet breakfasts were two of the best meals we had while in Bar Harbor, the room was quaint, quiet, and comfortable...nothing fancy but well appointed. Charging stations on both sides of the bed for phones a plus. Comfortable couch and bed.... More

The breakfasts were delicious. Convenient location to the park entrance enabled us to explore Acadia in our brief stay. Bar Harbor was a longer ride, but we didn't mind as our main focus was on the park.

The Inn is located in a convenient location to the main sites and also the quiet side. Jim and Anna are fabulous hosts friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was amazing, the evening snacks were a nice touch. A few of the rooms have a private entrance which we liked.

Very nice and reasonable B&B. We stayed in the Heritage Room, and it was perfect. Excellent bed. Wide choice on TV. Central air. Delicious breakfasts prepared by the owners, Jim and Ann. They really care about every detail. Restful benches on the grounds and lots of flowers. One caveat. It's about 7 miles outside of downtown Bar Harbor: around a... More

We enjoyed our stay at coach stop. Our host was very helpful and provided us with the audio tour cd for Acadia. The rooms have private entrances and the parking is convenient. This accommodation is neat Acadia but not near the village of Bar Harbor.

Anna and Jim were fabulous hosts providing great recommendations for what to do in the area as well as serving over-the-top breakfasts (quiche, candied bacon, ricotta pancakes, etc.). The inn, which is very quaint, is about 15 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and 5-10 from a park entrance so centrally located.

After traveling 6 hours from CT the Coach Stop Inn had fresh baked whoopie pies in the dining room.... need I say more? Anna and Jim were amazing hosts. My wife and I were spoiled during our stay for our second wedding anniversary. The location is great... About 10 minutes from Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor, The rooms... More

What an amazing place to stay. The rooms have everything you could possibly need and more. There are charging stations and flashlights and nightlights etc... The rooms are quite comfortable and a nice retreat from a busy day sightseeing. The breakfast is delicious and the afternoon snacks were very good as well. Jim and Anna are excellent hosts and go... My husband and I traveled to Bar Harbor, Maine in June of 2016. Our first three nights there were spent at the Coach Stop Inn. We had a wonderful stay! Location was great! Just a short drive to "downtown" Bar Harbor Maine and very close to the entrance of Acadia National Park. The breakfast they provided each morning was exceptional!... More

This wonderful B&B is located a few miles outside of town, but that is because it was the actual coach stop when it was built back in 1804! The inn retains some of its historical features, but has been comfortably updated over the years as well. We stayed in the Tavern Suite (the inn was reportedly a tavern back in... More
