All of our amenities are available and guests of the hotel will have rooms in our Atlantic View building, away from the construction. Our beautiful Bar Harbor hotel is situated on 12 acres of oceanfront property, just one mile from Acadia National Park and the shops and restaurants of historic downtown Bar Harbor. With stunning ocean views from every room, waterfront access to gorgeous Frenchman Bay, modern amenities, indoor and outdoor pools, and special vacation packages, the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel is the perfect place for an idyllic Maine getaway.

+ Great stay overall! very friendly staff! Great view from our hotel room from the living room and bedroom! We could see the ships. Parking is free and hotel is only 3 minute drive to Bar Harbor shops and restaurants -The mansion where we stayed need some updates (wallpaper needs to be replaced, balcony could use some paint). Restaurant food was terrible, menu a bit limited Breakfast was adequate (egg, yogurt, cereals, fruits, muffins, etc.) On the plus side the hotel is going over some renovations. I will return to the same hotel.

The view was incredable ! The team is awesome and so sweet. The place is beautiful and all is perfect. My friend and me were on a roadtrip, so the fridge, the microwave, the airdriver and all the many attentions were just perfect for us. The continental breakfast was complete and the breakfast staff was so caring. We do not have the time to try the pool, but she looks like big and beautiful. Finally, thank you for the warm welcome, I would come back anytime. - Sofia-Rose & Alexandra (Montreal)

Atlantic Oceanside has a culture of service at every level. We were especially impressed by the breakfast staff, the maintenance folks we ran into, and the check-in professionals. It's clear that Management has achieved a culture of service at every level...second to none, based on our travels to 55 countries and all 50 states! Great job and thank you for caring so deeply.

I stayed off season in late may, the staff was super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to return late August when the tours are open! I came to help my daughter move up to Maine for her summer job on the tour boats!

We came for the location; which was great. They offered a great daily breakfast and the Bistro food was great when we just needed a night in. Every staff member we encountered seemed to go above and beyond to assist. They know customer service! I would definitely recommend a trip to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and Atlantic Oceanside Hotel.

No hot water, thus no shower, for almost an entire day. The “winter renovations “ are still in full swing in late May. Looks like these major renovations will continue long into the summer season. A rather expensive stay in the midst of a construction site. You’ll be greeted by signs warning you not to trespass on the construction site as you try to make your way into the lobby to register or have breakfast. Traffic flow is a disaster through the property because of the extensive now summer construction project. Nice view if you don’t mind the construction noise and inconvenience. I would have sacrificed the view for hot water this morning.

I chose this hotel because when I went onto the website, the rooms in the oceanside building were advertised as "newly renovated". This was a major exaggeration. The building is very old and was given a lick and a promise of a makeover. The ac unit was rusty, old and very noisy. We heard noise coming from everywhere especially from above. My request for a top floor was not honored and we were constantly disturbed from people above us who walked like elephants. The bathroom was a complete horror. There was a bathroom vanity with a sink in the room (separate from the bathroom) which was very strange. The main building is still under construction and this was a little inconvenient at times. The pros of this hotel is it's proximity to town and Acadia. The views of the bay are really nice. There are boat tours that take off directly next to the hotel which is very convenient. The staff was nice. The food at their restaurant The Bistro was good but the place is too small to handle the whole hotel and they don't offer any take out food from the restaurant. They also don't sell any beverages or sodas and our vending machine was totally empty in our building. The continental breakfast had a good selection of food. Unfortunately I would probably pay more and stay at another hotel when visiting this area again.

My husband enjoyed our stay from the easy booking & check in, location of hotel with water view with boat tours from their dock plus the wonderful breakfast that came with the room. The parking was free. The checkout process easy. Their entire staff was very pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay! The staff were really what made this stay amazing. Our toddler was with us and they were so welcoming to her and plenty for her to explore around property. Rooms were nice, large size, could use some updating, but clean and the balcony views at the Oceanside building were amazing.
