The Holbrook House is a really beautiful B&B, well located in Bar Harbor: just a couple of minutes walk to the restaurants and shops, and close to the entrance of Acadia NP. Eric was very helpful in providing information about town's restaurants. Our room (chantilly room) was wonderful (nothing compared to the pictures online), big bathroom, comfortable bed and very... The Holbrook House was the PERFECT Bed and Breakfast. We had 3 people so were able to take the 3rd floor suite. It was cute, quiet and cool. the breakfasts were FABULOUS! Every day seemed to outshine the last. The owners were very helpful and delightful. If you stay here, you won't be disappointed!

It took a lot of research to find the room that would accommodate me and my sister and my daughter for four nights in a nice charming place at a reasonable cost in one room. Bar Harbor seems to be designed for couples in BandBs or families by the week in cottages or motels. Inns and BandBs rarely offer an... More

Just checking out now from a 3 night stay here at this wonderfully romantic b and b. Fabulous hospitality includes warm hosts, a beautiful room, a charming porch, out if this world breakfast, and homemade afternoon muffins and cookies. Great location in downtown bar harbour, just a 5 minute walk to the village green, shopping and restaurants. A perfect stay!

Great location close to Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia National Park. The innkeepers Eric and Michele were great. Eric was happy to provide information and Michele's breakfast was delicious. We stayed in room 8 which had a private bathroom across the hall. The bathroom was huge and they provided robes which was very nice. Michele also put out... More

Over the years, we have stayed at several B & B establishments and this place gets it right! Early morning coffee and continental breakfast with muffins, toast, (I swear the bread is homemade!) and blueberry jam is available each morning for early risers. Followed by an amazing fruit dish and a hot breakfast entree that is served to you when... More

As this was our first visit to Bar Harbor we had a lot of questions for Eric, and he answered all patiently and helpfully. The house was pretty and comfortable, and as others have stated, the breakfasts (we took pictures of the creative fruit course) and afternoon snacks (best peanut butter cookies I've eaten) were delicious. We couldn't have asked... More

The B&B is conveniently located in Bar Harbor, just a short walk from the Village Green, dining, entertainment, shopping and ice cream. The room was very comfortable and clean. All the staff and the owners were friendly and helpful. There are three pictures attached for the four breakfasts we ate. The fourth was so tempting all that I had was... More

We stayed in the Garden Room, which is this small, but absolutely adorable room on the second floor of the house. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous (pretty much exactly what you'd think of if you imagined a B&B in Maine) and impeccably decorated. There is a very welcoming sitting/eating area downstairs, where Michelle will put out delicious baked treats... More

Fantastic B &B. Stayed in the Fiddlhead Room ans it was absolutely charming. It is obvious that the owners Eric and Michelle pay exceptional attention to detail. The room was immaculate and the furnishings and styling made for a perfect stay. As with much of Maine small inns and B&Bs dominate relegating the chain establishments to the outskirts of town...
