My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in the beginning of Sept 2020 and had a very comfortable stay. We stayed in the Mint room for 1 night and then Sesame for 2 and both rooms were very clean, spacious and the beds were terrific. We read other reviews that mentioned the beds and sheets were amazing and they were definitely not wrong! Also, Eddie the Innkeeper was so nice and helpful. I forgot some jackets in the closet and did not realize until we were already on our way home and Eddie mailed them to me. Thank you so much, Eddie!

Bass Cottage is a charming B&B with beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, and the most welcoming people! Quintessential New England Feels! Eddie was so gracious and is a wealth of information for area. Breakfast was great and the menu changed daily. Jill was a pleasure to see each morning and they were very accommodating for food allergies. Bass Cottage is in an excellent location both for Bar Harbor as well as Acadia. I would highly recommend staying and will be back next time I’m in MDI.

We have stayed in many B&B's through the years. This is now one of our favorites! We stayed in the Mint room, on the first floor tucked away in the back. The spacious room had two comfortable reading chairs--which is a must for us! The location was great, right at the harbor and very walkable to anything in town as well as a short drive to Acadia National Park. The staff is gracious and accommodating and the breakfasts are fabulous! Highly recommended!

This is a stunning property hosting supreme linens, well-appointed furniture, and a gracious overall stately residence. The large rooms are lovely, and Eddie's service is unparalleled The inn is in the center of Bar Harbor, but just off the main street so it is quiet with plenty of guest parking. 100% recommend this property!

The location is smack in the middle of Bar Harbor. The owners could not be nicer. The room was large, well decorated and teh bed super comfortable. The breakfast was so good. We stayed 4 nights and loved this cosy little place. Please note this is essentially a B&B, no elevator, no big-hotel perks, but if you are looking for a small charming spot in Bar Harbor, you'll love this.
