Bar Harbor/Woodlands, a tent-camper's haven in the heart of the Maine woods, is a great place to watch the stars come out! Private, secluded Tent Sites will make you feel like you're in the backcountry while still being close to the amenities of Bar Harbor. An island shuttle service stops at the campground (mid-June through campground closing), making it easy to visit town. This KOA also offers full-service RV Sites, comfy Camping Cabins and Deluxe (linens included) Cabins. The campground is located at the gates of Acadia National Park with all of the hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and other pleasures the park has to offer. After a fun-filled day, relax in the heated pool with the kids. Forget something? Visit the campground's convenience store. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 40 feet.

Property's Favorite Review
We stayed in one of the wooden camping cabins for 2 nights. It was a peaceful spot in the middle of the woods. Liked the wooden swing on the porch. It was a bonus that there was a small pool which we enjoyed using. The staff were very friendly. Nice little shop at reception

Pleasant campground with friendly staff and clean bathrooms. My wife and I appreciated the individual bathrooms vs. communal we've seen at other campgrounds. Our 'Prime Tent site' was a neatly terraced campsite with a picnic table, a covered electric outlet with a small storage

Very clean showers and port-a-potties and the grounds maintained well. Lots of activities for kids and a pool. But it was really noisy at night, all 4 nights we stayed. People would come in even after midnight and laugh and yell, even with the rest of the camp totally

The good: great staff, very friendly and helpful. Decent sites. Location is great because the shuttle stops at the campground. Very convenient to see the sites in Bar Harbor and Acadia. Bikes can go right in the front of shuttle. The bad: WAY TOO MANY MOSQUITOES!! Ant red
