This was a timeshare exchange and we only stayed a few days but that was enough. The beach is great, the view, superb and the unit relatively new. This is not a resort, by any stretch. You feel like you’re in someone else’s apartment and in fact, I think some may live there or spend many weeks or months there. The area is a little remote and run down. Lots of homeless around, including the beach. We were warmly welcomed by the woman in the timeshare office who was nice throughout but not so much by the “regulars”. We were lectured about parking, banging on our wall because the washing machine was too loud (which we wouldn’t have used except we had to wash the bath and kitchen towels per house rules) and the icing on the cake - My husband was subject to a snide comment for wearing a Harvard University shirt in the elevator. They got a good laugh at our expense. Hope it was worth it. The exterior is dated although I think they are working on it. If you know what you’re getting into then you should be fine but if you want a more resort type of experience, or want to be closer to something to do, I’d skip it.

My hubby and I stayed at the Hawaiian Princess, Room 708. We cannot say enough about this condo!!! First off, this unit is a corner location and has the most incredible beach front and ocean view! Many hotels in Hawaii say they have a view, but I can tell you they are nothing compared to this! It’s also difficult to find a place that seems like you have your very own private beach! The condo itself is upscale, superbly decorated and extremely well appointed. We lacked nothing that we needed. Very well put together gourmet kitchen...even had spices available! The bed was sooooo comfortable and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Also, the owners went above and beyond in giving us recommendations on places to visit as well as eat! Love this place and we are so grateful to have found it! You don’t be disappointed if you decide to stay here for your next vacation!

Cosy Little Condo on the Beach! My wife & I really enjoyed the four nights we stayed at #705. The condo has been renovated and upgraded. The bed is a king, newer and comfortable. The bathroom comes with a number of amenities that were a nice touch. The kitchen is upgraded and nice. There is a couple of grocery stores a few miles away, which is a great way to save a little money. The building has three gas grills outside that you are free to use. The kitchen and living room look out onto the water and you have a nice unobstructed view to the water. The balcony overlooks the water and the beach. The views are amazing. We were there at the end of October and watched the sun sink into the ocean every night. The water is clear enough to see turtles in it. We saw one zoom through the water on the balcony while having breakfast on the table & chairs out there. The water & beach toys are another nice thought, especially that beach umbrella and chairs. If you are looking for a Westside condo, look no further than here. We hate the big city and wanted a place away far from it. Here we had the balcony doors open the entire time and listened the surf lull us to sleep. If we come back to Oahu, we would definitely stay here again. A note about the neighborhood: Several other people have mentioned that the neighborhood can be a little rough. The building and parking are gated, there is security on site and the beach is private. Yes the neighborhood is not the most desirable. It is working class poor. You will see homeless on many of the westside beaches. However the entire westside is like this. We saw homeless in the Northshore, the eastside and especially in Honolulu. The only time I felt unsafe was when I was in Honolulu. I talked with a number of the residents in the building and they said you won’t find a better beach/view/building anywhere in Oahu. They always felt the locals were friendly (unless you try to bogart their wave while surfing). And while the beach on the condo property is safe, it would not be a good idea to walk down Farrington Highway late at night, which frankly is a good idea in any city. Lastly there is only one way in and out the area and that is on the highway. Plan accordingly. Rush hour in and out crawls. Outside of that, you are about an hour from the North Shore (sans traffic). We left a little later in the day (after 8:00 AM) and had no trouble with traffic. However we did hit it in the afternoon coming back.

This place has a beautiful beach out front and you can hear the waves crashing from the front lanai. Unit #805 is decorated with Hawaiian Decor and very comfortable with a fully supplied kitchen. Nice and clean too!

Stayed on the13th floor with a beautiful view. Sunsets were wonderful. Nice to have a beach so close. The owner provided beach supplies; chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. They also supplied snorkeling equipment for four people. The apartment was fully furnished with essentials needed for sleeping and cooking. The building and room was dated. The bed was not the most comfortable to sleep on.
