Camp Mokuleia sits on a pristine section of Oahu North Shore waterfront. Their lodge is comfortable, boasting magnificent views of the ocean and Waialua coastline. Tent camping, and cabin rentals are also available. We discovered this camp 5 years ago, and have returned every year. If you want a beautiful, serene, away from the crowds place to rest and rejuvenate, this is it. Perfect for family reunions, families, solo campers, retreat weekends.

Those who are fans of the series Lost will recognize the YMCA’s camp in Waialua as the Dharma Initiative Barracks. The filming took place in the assembly hall building. The camp, located in Waialua, is officially known as the “YMCA Camp Erdman”. Today, the camp offers weekly overnight summer camps, day camps, and family weekend camps. Note: In the series Lost, the buildings were a yellow color but are now painted blue. The camp is private property so ask for permission from the front office before entering it.

This camp is open to everyone and has a lodge with guest rooms community kitchen and camping areas for your tent.
We stayed in the lodge and had 2 twin beds en suite with beach views.
They do not have AC or TVs in the rooms which was my issue.
However- the windows did open to allow the breeze in.
Location is rather remote- you have to drive atleast 7 minutes for a gas station, same for a restaurant and Walmart is even further away.
Directly acrossed the street is Pacific Skydiving.
