I want to start by saying that this place is a hidden gem. If you like to relax in a quiet/private, away from crowds of tourists and chain hotels/restaurants, and the corporate atmosphere of a typical resort this is the perfect spot for you. This was the last hotel I had the extreme pleasure of staying at before the pandemic hit. My boyfriend and I had been island hopping around Hawaii at the beginning of march (we are by no means rich, it’s just affordable to get around). This was our last stop before flying home, it was actually a last minute decision, we switched our reservation from the south side of the island, where we began our trip, to here and I’m so glad we did. We only got to spend one night here but both agreed it was the best place we stayed for the duration of our trip. We stayed in a one bedroom king suite with a Mountain View. The room was immaculately clean, as was the pool and all facilities. The room was large and equipped with a kitchenette with a full sized fridge(no mini fridge nonsense). As well as a dining area. The bedroom was separate from the living space and the bathroom was down the hall. But the best part was the massive porch(the living space AND bedroom open out to it) and the views of the mountains, it was the best view I’ve ever woken up to (see photos). I was so impressed with all of the amenities, not just a pool and hot tub, but they have kayaks, nightly boat rides, yoga classes, and more all included in the price of your stay. Unfortunately we were only here for one night so we didn’t get to take full advantage of everything offered to us, but that just gives us more of a reason to come back! The front desk staff was helpful and accommodating during check in and check out. Instead of spending your money at a resort in Waikiki get yourself up to Kaneohe and experience this breathtaking spot nestled in a quiet Hawaiian neighborhood, it’s exactly what I imagined in my dreams of visiting Hawaii. Also shout out to Jessica on the housekeeping staff for being so friendly and welcoming!

For our first trip to Hawaii we couldn’t have chosen a better location. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Special thank you goes to Kat for providing us with insider tips on the best hikes and activities we shouldn’t miss. We called her our personal travel advisor! We ate at the dinner both Monday and Friday. It was some of the best cuisine we enjoyed on the island (and that’s saying something!). Danny entertaining with song and stories, and with the beautiful Hula dancer (who even taught us a number!) gave us an intimate feel of Hawaiian culture likely not accessible from large-scale shows. Every day we could we enjoyed the free yoga class with Sophia - the perfect way to start our days. We traveled the island by Jeep. Paradise Bay was close enough to everything we wanted to do on the island (surf north shore, dinner in Waikiki, museums in Honolulu) but far enough away that we felt each day ended quietly and peacefully. Expect to wake up early though because the roosters will see to that! We were glad to get up and watch the sunrise on what is truly paradise on Earth. We will be back.

After looking at glorious reviews of this property, we booked a suite for more than 250$ a night. With high expectations, we checking in for our 3 night stay, but we were highly disappointed. The room they gave us was right at the entrance of the property at 1st (ground) level. The walls and ceiling were paper thin, windows didn't close completely and we had parking lot on three sides. It was extremely inconvenient being woken up by the noise in middle of the night and early morning. Completely defeats the purpose of booking a resort away from noisy Waikiki. However, their staff is amazing. Everyone was courteous and eager to help. We took a kayak lesson from Sophia. This was our first time kayaking and she was incredibly helpful (and patient lol). Breakfast was delicious, better than almost every free breakfast I've ever had.

Thank you for wonderful compliments on the staff and dining. We will certainly pass them along to everyone, especially Sophia. We apologize your room didn't meet your expectations. Our 'Classic' rooms are the most economical. Hopefully, you will come to visit us again when the rates are more reasonable and choose an upgraded room with views.

I loved my two days at Paradise Bay! We stayed here the last two days of our honeymoon and I wish we had stayed longer. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and offer amenities to prepare your own food. If you're looking for a luxury resort - this isn't it. It is a beautiful property in the middle of a residential neighborhood with friendly staff, well cared for grounds and a homey feel. We took advantage of the kayaks and I had a one on one yoga class with Sophia. I highly recommend yoga on the floating dock - what a unique experience! Enjoy this place, relax, and you'll have an amazing experience.

This resort was all we’ve expected plus more! Although there are some restrictions at the time we visited due to the corona virus, everyone still ensure that we have the best time. We appreciate Jessica for making sure that our room was clean and neat as well as Rallen and Sophia for giving us the best tour of the coral reefs and the sandbar (also ensuring that my girlfriend was disinfected from getting cut from the coral reefs)! Would definitely come back again rain or shine!
