We haven't stayed there yet and the Resort Coordinator Yvette was uncompassionate. We had a gift certificate that was worth $400 that expired last year and due to Covid, we could not stay on those dates. We reached out to the management and they were able to extend the dates until January 2021. That lit up our spirits. We called to book and spoke to the Resort Coordinator Yvette and she just gave us the hardest time. Her tone of voice makes it seem like she does not want to help and just wants to get extra money from us. I understand that it is a pandemic and all but she was giving us a hard time using this gift certificate and made things complicated by requiring us to book two extra nights out of pocket! The gift certificate letter specifically said that the gift certificate is valid for a one night stay in a bedroom with a view. The room reservation is subject to availability, not redeemable for cash, blackout dates apply, and guests may be required to pay resort fees upon check out. The gift certificate is worth $400 and is good for one-time use only. This letter does not specify that you have to book a minimum of three nights and you have to pay 2 nights OUT OF POCKET!!! Why do companies like this don't care about their locals? Such a shame! If you have some sort of partnership with Paradise Bay Resort take your business elsewhere! Someone who is not money hungry! Someone that caters to locals that live here and some may even be furloughed due to pandemics and it would be nice to have a staycation but NO! they make you pay extra. So PILAU! So GREEDY!!! Karma will do its works. I hope you and your family experience same people like you that will give you hard time.…
Great hotel with amazing free activities and I had a pleasure to get to yoga this morning with Sophia as instructor, it was the best yoga session I had even better than I had in Bali. Highly recommend the hotel too, nice quite relaxing location, amazing staff and waking up to the songs of different birds is priceless. Must stay place
Hidden gem between Kailua and the north shore this resort will make you feel like you are far away from civilization yet it’s only 25 min drive to Lanikai and other beautiful beaches. Kris at reception gave us a ton of suggestions most of which we hit and were eternally grateful. She also kindly upgraded us to a room with a view which we very much appreciated. Do note however that most likely you’d spend most of the time outside driving around the island. We enjoyed daily yoga classes with Sophia on a deck facing the bay and beautiful mountains. It was majestic and allowed your body to readjust after driving all day. The only confusing part was cleaning. Due to pandemic the resort negotiated with maintenance staff that there will be limited cleaning and no entry into the rooms 24 hours after guests leave. This means if you bring sand from the beach to your room you’d need to clean it yourself. I am pretty sure it’s specific to the timing of our visit.…
Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Rhiannon whose in housekeeping was very effective in her department. Whenever she saw us she would ask if we needed or wanted anything and always with a smile. Alyssa who was wking in the conference rm where she was in charge of activities was really nice. Again when she saw us walking around the property, if we needed or wanted anything just let her know with a smile. The hospitality that was given to us was awesome.
This is the best resort I have ever been in. Its not luxurious but its just right. The location of this place is definetly a gem. This is where the river meets the ocean. I'll definetly come back again. I did yoga on the floating deck with Sophia and she was absolutely so in tune with your needs. Thank you so much for having this special place.
