The setting and public areas are very nice. But the rooms are small and minimally furnished - we would have expected a lot more for the price. Maybe other rooms are better and others get more competitive prices through agents etc. Breakfast very limited. overall we were quite disappointed. Really over- priced.

My husband and I stayed for one week. It was a nice secluded resort. There were many event to join however we had our own agenda.. Food was fantastic and staff was just a great. The place was a little hard to find but GSP took us right there.

The staff, the grounds, the service, the room, all just fantastic!!! I will be back asap! So clean, so professional, so welcoming, so quiet, so accommodating...and on and on! If I'm ever on Oahu again, there is no other place I would stay. It's close to a couple other small towns and about 20 minutes to Waikiki/Honolulu.

After a wonderful stay there with one friend for Spartan 2015, I was eager to book again with a third friend for 2016. I explained what we really wanted were three beds and a covered lanai, since we had spent all of our time out there in 2015. I was told we would "love" our two bedroom "Bay View", which... More

We loved our four night stay at this resort! Didn't look like much from the drive up but when you enter it goes from what looks like a apartment complex to a little paradise gem! Right on the bay with unlimited free access to kayaking, morning yoga and paddle boarding. The pool was perfect and clean as well as the... More

Came to this resort for 9 days as I was working in Kaneohe Bay and this was the nearest place to stay to my work location. 9 days in one place is a long time, but I can truly say it was a magical experience. The windward side of the island is often considered just a place to go for... More

This was our second visit in 3 years. The hotel is in a quite and secluded place with lush green views of the Ko'olau range and Kaneohe Bay. Very friendly staff and great for a relaxed family holiday.

We can't say enough about the service and tranquility of Paradise Bay. When we contacted them about having a Kaneohe Sandbar wedding with less than 2 weeks notice we were amazed at how quickly they put us in touch with a coordinator who put the entire wedding and celebration together within days. Oahu is our home and we never knew... More

We have stayed in Paradise Bay twice. We stay in a second story unit with a lanai facing the bay and this last time our room right at the water's edge with an awesome view of the mountains across from the bay. We like this small compact resort for it's friendly staff and out of the way location. The pool... More

This is a pleasant little resort on the eastern side of Oahu, the only hotel in the area as most of them are in Waikiki. We chose it because we wanted to stay somewhere quiet. Booked the last available room, which was a Classic (cheapest room, with no views) for six nights and were very disappointed. The room (21) was... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Aloha! We are very excited to announce the completion of our room and property renovations. We will continue to enhance the property as other resorts do, however the bulk of work is complete. We appreciate all of the input we received both positive and negative and we have used it to get to the point we are today. We were recently awarded the 2014 TripAdvisor Award of Excellence. We are blessed to be part of what we all consider to be the most beautiful tropical setting in the Hawaiian Islands. Now the property, accommodations and warm staff complement our surroundings. We call ourselves True Hawaii and what does that mean? Our setting reveals the answer. We are located in a panorama of spectacular natural and tropical beauty, from amazing Hawaiian mountain ranges and lush tropical landscape, to beautiful Kaneohe Bay, Chinaman's Hat Island and out to the Pacific Ocean. We border an ancient Hawaiian fishpond surrounded by lush tropical mangroves. The Kahuona Fishpond is one of the last remaining working fishponds and is designated a historical site. We are the only resort property with private access to Kaneohe Bay. Kaneohe Bay hosts the most abundant and diverse sea life and reef system in the Hawaiian Islands and our guests can access it safely right from the resort. Our design fits with the environment and has a contemporary and authentic Hawaiian look and feel. We thank our guests who have stayed with us in the past and helped to support us. We appreciate your patience with the renovations and know you will be delighted on your next stay. The property, guest rooms, new amenities, services and warm staff are here to take care of you. We offer our guests the same entertainment, special Saturday sand bar excursion and we have added a few more; a Friday evening Firedance Show, additional live Hawaiian music and surprise cultural classes. We have added some new things such as; a fitness room, Wi-Fi, on call spa service, new pool and hot tub, new floating lounge areas, conference room, intimate wedding ceremonies and we are pet friendly. We have renovated and upgraded our guestrooms with; new furnishings, artwork, premium pillow top mattresses, luxurious bedding and linens as well as new flat screen TV's and IPod docks.Kayak use is still included and we also have Standup Paddle Boards and private boat charter available. We look forward to seeing you the next time you come to Paradise. Warm Aloha, David and Stephanie Ryan ... more   less
