Beautiful, quiet, secret resort on the Windward side of Oahu, away from the chaos. Views were breathtaking, the location was awesome and we absolutely enjoyed the exotic birds next door to our room (61). The grounds are full of lush greenery, flowers and fruit trees. The front desk staff (Kris, Kevin, Anu, Kylie, Marissa, Josie & Dalton) provided exceptional customer service with a smile. We needed to extend our stay, and Kris did everything possible to accommodate us. We will definitely be staying here again!

The setting is out of this world. Absolutely beautiful. Sadly, we were in a unit 52 for 3 days and it was filthy. Unit 42 was lovely. The linens were dirty, the small kitchen was not furnished with utensils. Could not use microwave & toaster at same time as it blew the fuses. The mirrors looked like a dirty cloth was brushed across them. The bed was not comfortable. It cost $1510 for 5 days. Additional $112.00 for upgrade absolutely worth it. Room 42 for the Aloha experience!

If you want a relaxing place to stay on Oahu away from the crowds of Waikiki, then Paradise Bay Resort in beautiful Kahalu'u is the place for you! You will be met with the most amazing scenery and hospitality on the island. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is exceptional. I would like to personally acknowledge the fantastic staff..Marissa, Kailee, Dalton and Anuhea at the front desk were super friendly and accommodating and provided amazing customer service. Aunty Lee and her Housekeeping staff were equally amazing and extremely hard working. We were always asked if we needed anything, and on the rare occasion we actually did, our requests were immediately fulfilled. We are repeat guests for these reasons and will ONLY stay here in the future. A big Mahalo to all of you at Paradise Bay Resort for your outstanding service and for treating us like Ohana!

Conveniently located 25 minutes from Honolulu airport on a quiet bay on the eastern side of Oahu. The location has easy access to all parts of Oahu. The views are stunning. We booked a 1 bedroom waterfront cabin and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom waterfront cabin. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our unit was clean and spacious, with a large deck with outdoor sofa right on the water. The unit had cooking facilities so we were able to make breakfast in the morning. The view of the bay and mountains from our deck and the floating docks elsewhere on the property were amazing. We had a free yoga session every morning at 8am. The yoga instructor, Mia, was wonderful. What a great way to start the day! We enjoyed using the kayaks out on the bay, which were also free. During our first three days on Oahu we stayed at a beachfront resort on Waikiki which was nice, but incredibly expensive and located in an urban area. The rest of our time on Oahu we stayed at Pleasure Bay resort which was a nice change in a serene and beautiful location and less than half the price of the Waikiki resorts. You do need to be prepared (and amused) by the fact that chickens and roosters run around everywhere on Oahu (and Kauai) so you will be seeing them (and hearing them) around on the property. Parking at the resort is a bit tight, but manageable.

We wanted to like this place. The grounds are pretty and lush, the staff are kind and welcoming, but it fell short of our expectations. The first night we stayed across the street from the main hotel. This section has a high fence and the grounds not tended to in the tiny yard. The BBQ and tongs were loaded with BBQ sauce - needing a deep clean. The two bedroom was tired and in need of a renovation. The air conditioner was above the head of the bed and loud. The bathroom vanity veneer had lifted. The appliances were working but in poor order. The door to the fridge no longer had the ability to hold food as the retaining bars were missing. The handle on the fridge was broken. The stove gas pipe was loaded with dust. While the place was tidy it really needed a scrubbing. The kitchen cabinets held dry goods from the previous guests - an over-site by housekeeping. The internet wasn’t working at all and while we were offered, and received a small credit, the problem persisted. After a couple days we were moved across the street to the main hotel where we were assured the internet was working. Our new room was very much the same as the last but it included a cockroach. The walls in the kitchen had food stains and again I felt that the place needed a deep cleaning. We were told, given our difficulties a credit for one nights stay would be applied. This was never done even after emailing the resort on our return. The pool was nice but in need of repair. The hot tub was out of service. And the BBQ I mentioned across the street remained dirty and unchecked for days until the dirty tongs finally disappeared. Also of note… new guests commenting to the front seat about the internet across the street were told ‘a ticket’ would be put in to have it addressed. Basically the resort knows they have problems but don’t seem to care about a solution. I would not stay here again. Kind staff, beautiful gardens but that’s it. If we had other options we would have left. We stayed about two weeks. The nice room pictures are of a suit or two - all the others are the same otherwise.

Amazing place to stay, about 30 minutes outside of Honolulu so your far enough away to avoid the mass tourists. We stayed in unit 19 which is the honeymoon suite. This unit is the best unit on the property! Parking was ok, not too busy or hard to find a spot. Beautiful views of the bay and mountains across the bay. The covered porch was amazing when it rained in the mornings. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

I am a travel agent and booked my clients at this resort because the previous reviews were pretty good. This is the review they gave me -The resort was overbooked and had to move to an upstairs room. No breakfast. No housekeeping unless asked for. Minimal towels and had to go get them instead of being delivered. Hot tub and pool were yucky cloudy. - didn't even use because of this. Low income area. Didn't go out after dark. Half the doors (sliding glass) did not lock. Nice room, but, long black hairs everywhere. Sheet and blankets were clean. Folk at the Eagles Club in Honolulu said this place is know as the weekend rendezvous for people in Honolulu.
