As newlyweds, my husband and I ventured to Hawaii for a late honeymoon. We stayed at the Hula Breeze in April 2013 and had a WONDERFUL time there! We are so glad we found this little gem of a place. Allison and Sven (owners) are friendly and helpful, yet hands-off enough to let you explore on your own and respect...

My family and I just completed our wonderful Hawaii vacation. Including 6 nights on Oahu at the Hula Breeze (Palm Room). The studio was well equipped with everything we could have needed right down to beach cooler, chairs, boogie boards and big towels. Also, the bed was awesome with high quality linens. Allison is a very gracious host who cares...

My husband and I just spent 8 nights at The Hula Breeze (Pineapple Suite). We were a little nervous about booking as you never know if the pictures and description are accurate etc. Everything was as described with no surprises. One thing we noticed immediately upon arriving is the lovely neighborhood where the B&B is located. It is located in...

As the title says, the location is amazing. Walk to the beach one way, walk to the restaurants the other way. Scenic drive along the coast to Hanauma Bay to the south, calm drive to North Shore with a stop at the shrimp truck to the north. You can also easily get from the Airport to Kailua by public transit...

The hosts were nice, and we only saw them once during our three days' stay. The room was clean and it was awesome that there were beach towels and boogie boards for us to use. There wasn't much of a breakfast in this B&B - only some frozen muffins in the freezer. We told the hosts that we didn't drink,...

Having grown up in Kailua, I was both a little skeptical but curious about what we would find in my old neighborhood when my wife and I decided to book 7 nights at the Hula Breeze. You won't find any "resort" hotels in Kailua (where there happens to be one of the best beaches in the country...and also 2 minutes...

Accolades abound for Hula Breeze in prior reviews, so I'll try not to be redundant re: particulars. Focus on the big picture: Imagine that you have your own studio apartment within minutes walk of Kailua Beach, 5 min. drive to Lanikai Beach (both excellent , though distinct in character). You know your neighbors, Allison and Sven, who have conveniently made...

If you are looking for a cheery cottage-like accommodation to unwind in and holiday from, look no further. We spent 10 relaxing days exploring all of Oahu from The Hula Breeze and were so pleased to always return at the end of the day to our cozy, private room in wonderful Kailua. The Pineapple suite was charming, comfortable and clean...

We stayed at the Hula Breeze for part of our honeymoon, and it was perfect. Stress-free, easy access to the beach and the ability to travel quickly to other parts of the island made our stay very relaxing. Loved it and would recommend staying there for anyone, especially those who would prefer a "home away from home" feel.

Want to avoid the hurly burly of Waikiki the way we did? Then try the Hula Breeze in Kailua, on the windward side of Oahu. It's in Kailua, a wonderful beach town with an assortment of beaches, restaurants and shopping to match even the most upscale tastes. Kailua's Hula Breeze (we stayed in the Pineapple room, as I recall) is...
