We followed the advice of other Trip Advisors and booked 8 days at the Hula Breeze. Tucked away on a dead end street in a desirable neighbourhood we turned left and walked about 3 blocks to Kailua beach which was the best beach I have been on. Return to your place, have a dip in the pool that the owner,Allison, graciously shares... More

Very comfortable bungalow, nice kitchen with everything for simple food preparation. We foodies didn't find many restaurants in Kailua that we liked, so having a kitchen in our room and Foodland a short drive away was a lifesaver. We lived on poke and fresh pineapple! The bed was comfortable. The hostess was very nice. The power went out one night... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hula Breeze. We stayed in the Palm room. It was clean, quiet and had all of the bedroom and kitchen necessities we needed to be comfortable during our week-long stay. You will not get the luxury of a fancy hotel, but you will get a fantastic value. The back yard and pool are relaxing... More

I had the good fortune to stay in the "Mango Suite" of the Hula Breeze property. It is a sweet and charming studio with private bath and all the amenities one would want or need for a restful and relaxing stay in Hawaii. The suite was well-appointed, very clean and comfortable. The really attractive feature was the quaint and private... More

My wife and I stayed in the simple, well appointed and roomy Pineapple Room. The longer we stayed, the more we noticed the tasteful attention to detail and care of the interior as well as the very well maintained yet natural yard with a pool, where we spent a lot of time. During our stay, we felt like we had... More

The owner, Allison, has converted this house into several rental units. It is in a great location..... minutes to walk to Kailua beach and an easy drive or walk to downtown. It is located on a quiet street in a subdivision. Our room was very comfortable and we had a large bathroom. The private patio, with furniture, was a nice... More

The Hula Breeze is the perfect, tranquil resting spot at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The room is attractive and comfortable, with everything you might need for your stay. Named appropriately, the trade winds provide a cooling cross breeze, making sleeping pleasant. The pool and garden area is beautiful, and the hostess, Allison, is very friendly. It... More

We always try and stay in small inns/B&B's when we travel - this one ranks up there among the best. The best decision was to avoid Waikiki and stay here - unspoiled, quiet, far nicer than the "other" side of the island but still 30 minutes from everything. We had the pineapple suite - perfect as our 12-year-old was with... More

We visited the Hula Breeze for the second time because we just fell in love with it. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and have lots of space. The kitchenette is well equipped and offer everything you need to prepare fast and simple meals. The bed is very comfortable and instead of a noisy air conditioner you can enjoy the... More
