Ka Hale Mala was an amazing experience for us on Molokai. We were going over from Kauai to celebrate our anniversary and wanted to stay at a bed breakfast. I found it by chance and couldn't have been happier! Our hostess met us at the airport to guide us back to Ka Hale Mala which is the entire down stairs... More

Love the place and Cheryl is awesome. She picked us up in the airport and gave us very detailed things to visit and tips. We had a wonderful breakfast too and had a great time visiting with her and telling us more about the island.

This is an exemple of a "hotel" that is made by the owner. The appartment is good and very big, breakfast very very good (compare our experience at hotel molokai the next day!) but Cheryl was fantastic. She came to get us at the airport early morning (and we only staid one night), gave us really useful explanation, helped me... More

My husband spent 2 nights at the B and B. It was a wonderful experience and Cheryl made it so with her sharing about the island, where to go, what to see and some details not otherwise made available to tourist. Breakfast is beautiful, relaxing and oh so fresh and tasty. The room(s) are spacious and very private. We would... More

My travel partner and I spent three nights at the Ka Hale Mala in June, 2014. The room occupied the first floor of the house, so it's spacious. Breakfast was a delight every morning. The B&B is well located for access to town, though every place is fairly close in Molokai. Cheryl has a forceful personality and I can see... More

I carefully choose my lodgings based on travel guides, TripAdvisor, and other sources. TripAdvisor reviews (good and bad) had been pretty spot on with the places I chose to stay at. Here, I did not have the excellent or very good stay as most other reviewers did, but did have some of the same less than desirable experiences that some... More

We had the most wonderful experience on Molokai and the main reason that Molokai was so special for us was Ka Hale Mala and our wonderful host Cheryl. We stayed 3 nights with Cheryl and while our stay was not long enough we had such a great orientation by Cheryl when we arrived that we were able to plan our... More

4 of us stayed here for one night in April. Our host met us at the airport to show us where her B&B was. It was a 15 min drive from the airport. The house is just after mile marker 4. It was on a col de sac with probably 6 other house. One had lots of noise and junk... More

This B&B is the perfect base to explore Molokai: centrally located, very spacious, a welcoming host and delicious homecooked breakfast. We stayed here for four nights and received lots of advice on things to do on the island, tips you'll never find in guidebooks! Thanks to Cheryl's handwritten route we managed to reach the amazing "enchanted forest" boardwalk trail in... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights with Cheryl as an introduction to Molokai. Not only did we receive first rate breakfasts, but lots of interesting conversation and insights into life on Molokai. Following many of her suggestions, we drove to Halawa Bay, swam @ 20 mile beach, met a pet Axis deer, interacted with many gracious islanders, took in... More
