The Sugar Mill Cottage is by far the best place to stay on the island. We loved being so close to Murphy's Beach (aka 20 Mile Beach). Ke'ala was a wonderful host. She gave us many tips during our week long stay. The ranch's organic veggies, eggs, beef and deer meat provided us with great meals. We ate most of... More

I believe this is my 9th visit to the Ranch. I stayed again at the Sunrise cottage. It is so perfect; it inspires me to do some beautiful artwork and really relax. I travel by myself and feel completely safe and loved. The staff, Keala, Ipo and Uncle Allan made my trip complete. If you truly want to experience true... More

This cottage is on the far easter part of the island on a very nice, large ranch. The sunset cottage has two bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms, full kitchen, dining, and living areas and a nice lanai with small (limited) ocean views. You are in the country, so it is very peaceful but being in the country brings the ocassional pest... More

Another outstanding week at the Sunrise cottage in May. I found my time to be restful, inspiring and peaceful. The Nenes were near my cottage all the time; they are such beautiful and graceful birds. Keala always makes sure that I have everything I need to enjoy another great stay at the ranch. Her "Aloha" and hospitality is the perfect... More

We stayed at Pu'u O Hoku Ranch over a long weekend for a ukulele retreat. The property is located almost at "the end of the road" on the tip of Molokai'i Island. Our stay in the room attached to the main lodge was very comfortable. We had the luxury of being the only group on the property and we were... More

My husband and I stayed in the sunrise cottage for 1 week as our honeymoon. It was exactly what we needed after an exciting, fun-filled, but hectic wedding week on Kauai. In fact, staying at the ranch was perfect for us. The fresh produce bag, ground beef and eggs from the farm/ranch were excellent! The sunrise cottage is not far... More

We stayed in the Grove Cottage and loved every bit of it! Wonderful view of Maui, spacious common areas, delicious fruits, veggies, eggs, & beef, all directly from the ranch itself. Fantastic hiking and a beautiful, secluded beach are just down the road. We can't wait to go back!

I spent 4 nights at the Sugar Mill Cottage and I enjoyed every second possible. the weather allowed for great beach days that are a hop, skip and jump from the cottage. Keala made sure my frig was stocked with fresh veggies from the farm and some wonderful ranch hamburger. The peace and quiet was just what I needed and... More

We stayed at Puu o Hoku Ranch in April 2014 in the sunrise cottage. The cottage is clean, spacious and bright with many wonderful views. The sunrise in the morning is breathtaking. It is also very quiet and remote. Keala is a wonderful hostess with many great stories. Everyone at the ranch is super helpful and friendly. There was a... More

What can I say...I am hooked. My husband treated me to another 3 nites at the Sugar Mill cottage before Christmas. Another glorious time. Had a small glitch but Keala was to the rescue and problem solved quickly and professionally. A great place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate yourself. Counting down the days till I can return again.
