Overall, I had a good experience at the Aloha Surf Hostel. The staff was friendly, the trips were well organized, and it was easy to meet others at the hostel. The location is perfect in Paia, close to many beaches and shops. The breakfast isn't great at all, but theres lots of options to eat in town. Would stay here...

I have stayed at the Aloha Surf on three consecutive December/ January vacations. Cheap, clean, safe with the BEST STAFF you will ever encounter. Free pancakes and coffee in the morning and a big BBQ patio area just outside the door. Daily tours and only a couple minutes from the best kite surfing anywhere. I will be back again next...

There's almost enough restrooms for no one to have to wait too long. I was out of there before the morning rush; but there's only 3 restrooms. The location is great, right down the street from lots of stuff Paia has to offer. The amenities are the best out of any hostel I've been to, including: A hot tub, ping...

We were a group of 4, 2 couples who landed in Maui too late for a hotel. They had left a envelope for us and a key to a separate room with 3 beds and our own private bathroom with shower which was a great option. Parking was a bit tricky, especially when arriving late at night. My only negative...

I arrived at the Aloha Surf not knowing what to expect as hostel stays were somewhat new to me. The staff was really helpful and welcoming and had me settled in no time. The check in was very organized and a tour of the place was in order and well delivered. I stayed in a woman's dorm with 5 beds...
