Lovely old plantation house on the edge of a sugar cane field just a mile down the road from the charming town of Paia, where there are a number of good restaurants and shops. Also close to a great windsurfing beach and just about an hour from Lahaina, where we had one of the best Fourth of July celebrations ever.... More

On our first trip to The north shore of Maui, my partner & I stayed at the Kuau Inn. We had the absolute best time!!!! The inn is quaint and charming; Equipped with lovely, tidy rooms and a killer outdoor shower! Breakfast food & coffee are kindly provided, and wonderful general stores are close by! The innkeeper, Lindsey, is amazing!... More

Stayed as a group and so had the entire place (were forced to rent entire property even though we only needed 4 of the rooms), might be odd to share with strangers - bathrooms near rooms & close together (especially one of the bedrooms on the side whose door is next to two bathroom doors). Property is nice (but right... More

A different take of B&B. Many different types of breakfast items are available and you help yourself. The kitchen was a good meeting place to meet up and get to know the house mates. Outside on the lanai was another large table set to gather at. Lindsey, the inn keeper, did a great job of keeping the house clean and... More

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, there was many options for breakfast. The lanai provided endless entertainment due to the geckos and lizards running around. It was a very comfortable stay near Baldwin beach (gorgeous) and Lindsay, the inn keeper, was very helpful, pleasant and accessible. Would definitely stay here again!

rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean which i really enjoyed. had a "rustic" feel since there was no air conditioning. only downside is that breakfast is NOT prepared for you and you have to go into the fridge and make it yourself. options available were simple eggs, cereal, yogurt, coffee etc.

The inn is perfect just one mile from Paia town. We stay 3 days and we like everything. The room is very nice and clean and the shower outside is the best, you take shower by the moon and stars. The breakfast is delicious!! Very cool you make you own breakfast and there is a variety of food. The housekeeper... More

I booked the Kuau Inn with a friend for my last night on Maui. It was perfect. Lindsay, the innkeeper welcomed us like family. The common area outside was the perfect gathering place for getting to know fellow guests, grilling, having morning coffee. Our room was very clean and well appointed. There are some traffic sounds from the highway and... More

Best nights sleep of all the places we stayed. The beds are very comfortable. Great opportunity to meet other travelers and get feedback on activities. Will definitely stay here again and call it home!!!
