A great place for a family holiday.
We were a party of 9 adults and 4 children under 6. Our ages ranged from 2-70. This was the first Hawaian holiday for about half of the group and they loved the experience.
Upon arrival we upgraded...More
Nice beach, nice pools. Rooms more than adequate. Would noramlly give an above average rating, but just can't. I found all of the ancillary charges made the place feel like a Super 8. Per-minute charge for internet access in the business center and additional per-page...More
Wonderful service, was very pleased when we checked in and were updgraded to an apartment (we booked a hotel room). We had no view, but didn't mind. Very convenient location, close to Lahaina town and farmer's market, also right across the street from Times' supermarket
We signed up for a trip saver room with AAA pleasant holidays, and were psyched when we showed up and had been upgraded to a condo (complete with ocean view balcony, full kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom, dishwasher, flat screen, internet...you name it!!!) They did,...More
First of all, this is the first poor review I have written on tripadvisor but feel the need to since I feel we weren't treated the way a guest should be treated. To make a long story short, we had not checked out of the...More

1)There’s no beach at the moment but that’s just the season. There are two pools with sunbathing areas but the pool by the bar area has an amazing beach view to enjoy! No other beaches within walking distance but definitely within a very short drive.
2) Yes, there are restaurants and some shops within walking distance. Ask the hotel how to get to the beach path that connects their sister property (Aston Mahana) to the path. Their sister property is two resorts away and you can walk to other restaurants like Duke’s and the beach view restaurant at the Westin. The restaurants at Front Street are good. Although you have to drive but lots of options there and the drive itself is about 10 minutes.
3) We stayed in a one bedroom- 1 bath suite and was very nice, spacious and comfortable. Open concept with kitchen, dining and living room, completely separate from the room and bathroom. These units have a pocket door that you can close in case someone wants to sleep in and the other wants to either cook or enjoy a coffee in the living room while watching TV.
