Hotel's Favorite
Two bedrooms with two baths and oceanfront premium view. This room was extremely nice! Wraparound windows directly on the beige sandy beach front. We were there in February and literally every day watched multiple, multiple whales all morning long and turtles as well from our big balcony. So nice! Huge windows, opening up to a balcony with great ocean views from living room and from master bedroom, and then big window mountain views from the other bedroom. Full kitchen, granite countertops, full fridge, table, sofa and chairs, just really nice. Basic, no frills, oceanfront pool and hot tub, but still nice. AC. Multiple local food trucks in a lot just off the property on the main road. Our stay was really, really great!

Kaanapali shores is a perfect spot to stay while on Maui. Staff is friendly, property is beautiful and shops for food, drinks, restaurants etc are all nearby. Definitely my favorite hotel on Maui! I highly recommend Kaanapali Shores

Clean. Friendly staff. Nice property. Food was good. Location is perfect to use as a base to explore the island. Close to lot of restaurants, shopping and recreational activities. Beach had eroded since my last visit (15 yrs ago) but plenty of beach front nearby. No complaints.

The beach fronting our resort, like all beaches in an island environment, is subject to change by way of changing ocean swell and weather conditions. The beaches in other resort areas on the island have experienced similar effects, with sand having been washed away quite severely at times. While this natural phenomenon does occur from time to time, what is also true is that the sand does wash back in as well at different times every year. We hope to welcome you back with us again soon. We enjoyed our stay. This resort is a bit older, so not the prettiest nor fanciest, but still very good. I would stay here again. Glad to have a kitchen and a washer and dryer in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great assortment of food trucks for lunch and dinner daily right next door. Only had one cleaning service the whole week, though.

The pools are very nice and the grounds are immaculate. We always found a spot at the pool. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Parking is $10 per day (should be included). Would recommend staying here.

Everything about Aston Kaanapali Shores was amazing! Accommodations are very nice and the staff is beyond friendly. My *only* complaint is that the beds in our suite were as hard as a rock. Happy!!!!!

The check-in process was very annoying! Our room was not ready by 4:00 as it was supposed to be and after standing in line a few times they finally switched us to another available room. Also, would prefer the gym to be open longer as well as the coffee stand if that is possible.
