Some rooms still slightly outdated but renovations are ongoing. Staff helpful and friendly. The bus stops right out front. Please note this is a condo not a Hotel. That is the best thing about it. Not a beehive full of people like the big hotels

Went here for our honeymon and could not be any happier being here. Perfect place to snorkel and find ancient sea turtles. Perfect swimming and skim boarding. Previous travellers continue to recycle beach chairs, boogeyboards, and other beach accessories which makes for a

The resort itself is very pretty. Staff has been pretty accommodating during our first part of our stay. However, we have family in town for our wedding and god forbid you have a fun. We have been told 2 nights in a row to be quiet, or leave our lanai because we were playing

The beach is a rocky little pocket beach that looked like it holds its sand. Next door there is a nicer beach that is has a easy path to itthat was less rocky. Other resorts just up the street had lost thier beach.. We did snorkle at this reasort. Saw turtles and a bunch of fish.. there is rocky out crops along the shore with a little reef extending a couple hundred yards out. Napili and Napuali bays are 5 minuters up the road and had better fish, corals, and where better protected from the surf. We snorkeled almost every day.

Hi Alexa, It depends a little bit on the time of year. Most months there is a small sandy beach, and just off Kuleana is good for snorkeling. Also, there is no public beach access so it tends not to be crowded. During the winter, there are bigger waves (which surfers love!), as on other parts of the island. However, during the winter, Kuleana is also one of the best locations for whale watching. With the large lawn area and being right on the ocean, it is a good spot. There are other areas within close driving distance, such as Baby Beach in Lahaina, that have a fringing reef, creating a protective cove for swimming. These beaches are great if you have kids. You can check out a good beach guide on the Destination Maui Vacations website. Happy vacation travels, and we hope to see you at Kuleana soon!

We did not use them, as we had washer/dryer in unit.

We were there in October and didn't have any issues. The street noise can be loud if you are opening up to get the draft. Air flows through very nicely, I really don't think the noise will be a problem.

Thank you for your questions and interest in the Kuleana. We do not have any exercise equipment, but we have a very large pool for swimming laps. Most, but not all condos have air conditioning. Being a mixed use property with multiple owners, amenities may vary from unit to unit.

"Try units in the 100 or 400 buildings to cut down on street noise or bring ear plugs!"

"unit #303, ground floor unit overlooking swimming pool ... very quiet."
"I am sure they all have great views but I enjoyed being front and center (Bldg 400)"
