The young lady at Aina Nalu Condo, check-in office was very helpful and gave us lots of local information about the complex and surrounding Countryside. There were a bunch of swimming pools scattered around the property, but we were not interested in getting a tan as we live near the beach in southern California. We did not require any special views just a clean self-contained apartment close to Lahaina’s busy world famous “Front Street”. This second-floor 2-bedroom 2 bath condo had everything we wanted, kitchen wi-fi and air-conditioning, and a nice coffee shop around the corner. But best of all it was just a short walk from a friendly Lahaina sports bar, that stayed open late, unlike the rest of the town. The grounds were well maintained and full of colourful plants and giant bamboo, there was parking but it came at an extra price, so we parked on the street. TIP: There are 5 ways to get from Kahului Airport (OGG) to Aina Nalu condos in Lahaina, by bus, taxi, car, Town car, or shuttle. (Bus Line 40, line 20 bus, 2 half hours $4:00 stops outside condo) Please would you give a thumbs up below if you found this review informative? Thank you.…
The Aloha and hospitality is way beyond expectations and honestly the best experience I've had. Leeann of Itrip Vacations Maui made the experience of booking very easy and communication was amazing. Aina Nalu, unit H105 is located right in the heart of Historical Lahaina town. This place is Extremely immaculate and it felt like home. The decor were of great quality and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully loaded and equipped with everything. This beautiful unit is very spacious and comes with a lot of amenities. Everything that was described on the website and a lot of personal touches by the owners that made it very special. It's a block away from lots of shops, restaurants, movie theaters and The Lahaina Boat Harbor. All within walking distance. Definitely, highly recommended and I look forward in returning soon.…
Celebrated our 30th anniversary with friends with a trip to Maui. We rented a VRBO thru Michelle and could not have been happier with the service we received. We had a room full of fellows who were having a very good time and wanted us all to know about it. They were quickly dealt with and shut down. Having Front St only 2 blocks away was very convenient. The pools were nice and clean, and the staff seemed friendly. I highly recommend this resort to you!
Instead of staying at an expensive hotel, this property is perfect for traveling with family and feeling more at home. While it's not on the beach, it's within walking distance and super close to downtown Lahiana. The condo's are nicely laid out, have great amount of space and bathrooms. The in-unit laundry is always nice. The property has two pools, and a hot tub. There are free cabanas to use, which are a first-come first-serve basis. Lovely property overall!
What a perfect place for those who want to be close in to Lahaina town. It is a 5 minute walk to the docks for boat excursions, and to restaurants and shopping on Front Street. It is quiet, beautifully maintained and has two nice pools. Great for individuals, couples and families with children.
We stayed for a week recently. On walking in, you smell the smoke dulled by an air freshener in the unit. Couch has cigarette burns and stains, and is so old and used, your bottom feels the frame of the bed underneath, it needs to be re-upholstered! It was managed by a company called Coconut Condos, which, did not return my emails about these issues. When there was no hot water one whole day, someone did get to me via email. When I tried to review the Coconut Condos through their website, it is rigged so that your inputs always say excellent! What a joke! This unit stinks and is uncomfortable!
Stayed in they condo complex within easy walking distance to Front St in Lahaina. Very nice swimming pool and outdoor pavilion with big screen TV. Condo was comfortable and very reasonably priced. I believe most if not all units are privately owned and managed by the local team. Our unit was a bit dated, bottom floor access to pool, with 2 bedrooms and two baths. Kitchen area was adequate. Needed new dishwasher. Expect to encounter ghost ants. Parking can be a challenge at certain times.
Traveling with a group of friends we booked and planned to spend a week at this property. After the first night, we quickly realized that we needed to leave and find new accommodations for the remainder of our stay on the island. The unit we stayed in looked great in pictures, but in actuality was worn, tired, and smelt awful. Walking in the sewage odor hit you immediately. The grounds themselves are in disrepair, very poorly kept, with caution tape everywhere. Traveling from the east coast and working remotely throughout our trip meant that we needed to be online by 2 am local time for work. When we woke the first morning the WiFi was not working, we immediately scrambled to fix this issue with no guidance from anyone. We went to a coffee shop around the corner when they opened and multiple other guests were there as well as they were faced with the same issue (some of which had been dealing with this for 5+ days). After a whole workday, realizing the issue was not gonna be fixed we decided to cut our losses and find a new hotel (the Ka'anapali Beach Club which I would most definitely recommend) as we needed to have reliable internet access for our trip. It was almost a blessing as it was the final straw that made us leave and move to a property that made our Hawaiian vacation the best that it could have been. I am not one to often write poor reviews, but I have never experienced a lack of care in the hospitality industry, PLEASE if you are looking for a place to stay on Maui avoid Aina Nalu.…
I’ve stayed here several times over the years. I love Lāhainā, enough to do and not get bored. Our room was large, comfortable, nicely appointed and clean. Staff was friendly. The only drawback to these rooms are the noisy window unit air condition units. Unit was competitively priced with discount from Outrigger that I had received via email. I would recommend this property. Parking was extra.
You obtain a Air B and B and pay for all cost at a premium price. Then you get there and park in their unsecured littered construction zone of a parking lot, and they harass you over $20 a day parking. Leaving rude threatening letters on your car daily! Stay SOMEWHERE ELSE! Just don’t go here!
