This resort is so well done, its hard to imagine staying anywhere else in Muai. We booked as our second choice (first choice gave us nothing but issues and we had to switch) but once we switch we imidiately knew we had the best option. Brandon the owner of Konea 112 where we stayed provided a level of custemer service that you just dont find anymore. from the moment we booked he provided thoughtful, careful guidence and assistance. The unit was beautiful and well appointed with plent of space for the 5 of us. It had an extra large lanai that was a great gathering place for our family. While there we took full advantage of the resort pools and spa, They are amazing and I highly recomend them. My wife and I truely love the couples massage, so relaxing! With Duke right on the property it quickly became our favorite place to eat, it made for a spectacular meal as the sunset set on the north Kannappali beach directly infront of the restaurant and resort. If you are considering Muai I would recomend Honua Kia and I would Highly recomend reaching out to Brandon and his team about Konea 112. I will be goinging back, soon.

We stayed at Honua Kai for a week in a 2 bedroom condo, here are some pros and cons of the resort: Pros: Beautiful grounds Awesome pools, kids loved the water slide pool the most Dukes and Whaler's general store on site were a plus BBQs for guest use were nice to have Extra large Lanais, very enjoyable Fully equipped kitchen Washer and dryer in room Cons: Parking- if you arrived to hotel after 9 at night, there were no more spots in the garage, you had to park far away and walk to resort. This was a major con with kids late at night. Towels- Some machines were broken, the ones that worked would run out of towels early in the day Pool Chairs- Not enough chairs around the pool resulting in 1- people reserving chairs early in the morning. 2- people bringing their own chairs and setting up wherever around the pool to have a place to sit. Dukes pool side- under staffed and hard to get BBQ areas had no chairs and tables for eating what you grilled Beach equipment- wish we had not rented directly through the resort as other units were equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. but the rooms through resort had nothing. Hot water- couldn't run two showers at one time in the condo or else nobody would have hot water.

I’ve never had a worse experience than staying at a property managed by Megan Stice. I’ve stayed at rental properties all over the world and many in Hawaii. She is just an awful person. She is completely dishonest and really nasty. Please stay anywhere else. I’ve never thought I’d have to write a review like this.

This vacation was amazing due to the fantastic Honua Kai Resort and the hospitality of Fereshteh Tali. Room H345 has a beautiful view of the ocean and pools from the spacious lanai. The room is nicely furnished and the beds are very comfortable. Kitchen appliances are top quality and everything you need to cook is there for you. You are steps from Duke's restaurant which has great food and something for everyone. The room was very clean. If you need anything Fereshteh is quick to respond. This is our second stay in this unit and we plan to stay here again. Stay here you will love it!

Incredibly well-appointed condos with chic, modern furnishings with sliding glass doors onto luxuriously furnished lanai. All conveniences you could want including the cart filled with deck chairs etc which could be easily wheeled to the beach. 5 minutes walk to beach and 1 minute to a pool. Linens and towels were fantastic, and kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. Perfect for families. Booked through Ka'anapali Luxury Vacation Rentals - they were great to deal with, and everything was as promised.
