We stayed 3 nights at the Best Western Pioneer Inn. When we arrived, we drove around the block twice, looking for the entrance, which is not noticeable, as it is so modest. It is on the harbor side. We stayed in room 17, which is the first room at the top of the stairs, and is closest to the harbor. All the rooms are upstairs, and there is no elevator, but the staff helped us with our luggage. The room had a double (queen?) bed, TV, A/C, 2 seat sofa, clock, 1 cup coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and lots of plugs, but no safe. The bathroom had a tub and shower. There was a big balcony with 2 rocking chairs and a big table. The view from our room was of the banyan tree, and the harbor. Parking is limited, but they give you a parking pass for a public lot one block away. They also give you 15% coupons for the grill in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and informative. We would stay there again.

Very laid back location in a beautiful, historic hotel - staff in both the hotel and restaurant were amazing - we walked all over town from this location. View of the water from the rocking chair on our balcony. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a week just as the virus crisis was breaking .They seemed to handle it all very well .Perfect location in the centre of the action . Right across from the Banyan Tree . On the water . It was the original Lahaina hotel . Rooms must have been totally redone recently . Nice size . Well decorated . Comfortable . Good ac . Good wifi . Comfortable beds . Excellent balcony overlooking their pool . Housekeeping was great . Price was kind of high but that is the market . We loved the place .

The Inn is historic (old), but is kept very nicely. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is good. Using the 15% discount at the restaurant requires you to use a ticket BEFORE the bill comes. Hostess was put out that her manager has to key in the discount. You'll need to get another discount card after each meal. The food is decent. The rooms along the streets are noisy. You will hear bars and music until 2 am. Then there is the pedestrian, vehicle, delivery truck, leaf blowers, and banyon tree bird noise. It isn't real bad, but it is there. No elevators so plan on stairs. It isn't a deal breaker, but don't be shocked.

Completely satisfied. Perfect stay. The alarm clock in the next room went off at 6am, and room was vacant. I called th front desk. They sent someone to turn it off in 60-90 seconds! Well done! The room was very clean. It looked nice. The bed was comfortable. I had a balcony facing the pool. The balconies are against each other, so you do not have privacy if someone is on the one next to yours. The pool was clean and well maintained. The property us well maintained, overall. And, staff are always around if you need something. I choice this hotel because it is in Lahaina. You can walk the town from here.
