Have stayed here two, maybe three times. The units are nice, about fifteen or sixteen total, spread over 4 floors total. Each unit is privately owned, and making reservations is easy and flawless. If you have choice, stay on the 3rd floor or 4th floor (penthouse) much quieter from "folks on the patio" chatting away ! By the way, there...

We've been coming to Punahoa for several years. The location is absolutely the best. Close to shops and restaurants but on a side street so not a lot of traffic. The lawn area is wonderful and Hidden Beach is just steps away. We've stayed in both the studio and the 1 bedroom. The negatives for the 1 bedroom is you...

Small condo compared to most of the beach condos in Kehei which made it feel very private. Nice lawn with plants and grass where one could watch beautiful sunsets. There are two beaches within a short walk from the condo and a reef with fish and sea creatures at the water's edge. Restaurants and shops a short walk away. Kehei...

Fabulous building. Feels off the beaten track. So private compared to other beach condos. Restaurants and crafts a 10 minute walk away. Lanai gets shade most of the morning. Location, location, location.

We have been coming in Feb. for the past five years. The studio unis on the second and third floors are our favorite We now try for three weeks to get the long stay discount . The ocean sounds and sunset views are what keeps us coming back.

We absolutely loved our stay! We didn't have a place for our last 4 nights, but we found a gold mine here! Zaldy went out of his way to get us in the same room for all nights. Snorkeling was superb! Walking the Beaches, Perfect! Sunsets Amazing!!

My husband and I stayed in #204 in late February, 2015. It's a small studio with a fold-down bed in the living room, but it was just right for the two of us. We like that's a small building in a mostly residential area so it's quiet, and of course right ON the water, even with its own little cove...

The Punahoa is quiet romantic gem overlooking the beach in South Kihei. We stayed again in unit 302 for 10 days in November. This is a one bedroom condo on the 3rd floor which is located in the south end of the building so you have more privacy and are not too close to the patio on the ground floor...

We were in unit 304 for 11 nights in January. It is a studio apartment, which for us was big enough, plus that meant our bed was beside the balcony so we could listen to the waves at night. The unit was very well stocked- kitchen utensils, books, some cd's, and 2 beach chairs with an umbrella which was great...
