I stayed in the Honu room on my visit. John greeted me when I arrived and I had beautiful fresh cut Hawaiian flowers in my room. The room was clean, tidy and perfect. The views of the ocean are lovely and the deck is an ideal place to relax. The shower for this room is outside and has perfect views...

My husband and I stayed in the Nai'a Suite for two nights. It was a very mixed bag. On the plus side - The view, the sound of the waves, and the jetted tub on the balcony were all very relaxing. But the there were far too many minor annoyances and irritations - - There are no curtains in the...

We were very excited about driving to Hana and to spend a night at the I'wa suite at this inn that sounded so beautiful. Our arrival went well and John showed us to our room, which indeed had a great view. The rooms are nice, and we didn't mind having only the ceiling fan, although it doesn't do too much....

We stayed in the I'wa suite for 2 nights. The inn itself is beautiful and unique, completely made of bamboo and with only three rooms. Our room had a nice view of the ocean and an indoor (amazing) shower. Since none of the rooms have air conditioning, it does get a bit hot at night and the fan doesn't do...

We stayed at Bamboo Inn for for nights, and all I can say it was magical. Some of the reviews have been critical, but these people must have only stayed in Sheraton's, or the like. We stayed in the I'wa suite - no curtains. e kept the sliding door open almost all the time to get the fresh ocean breeze....

We stayed in the Iwa Suite, which was amazing. The entrance to the room is up a staircase onto a private second story balcony which is about 300m from the crashing waves on the ocean. When we were in the room we kept the sliding screen door open, and appreciated the wrap around plantation-style shutters which allowed the warm sea...

Bamboo Inn on Hana Bay was our home for two nights while visiting the East side of Maui. This place gets a mixed review. John, the owner is a nice fellow and runs a nice business. The location on Hana Bay provides great views and it is easy to get around Hana. The only negative for my wife and I...

My wife and I have been visiting Hana and staying at the Bamboo Inn for over ten years. Hana is a beautiful location and the Bamboo Inn has a good view of the ocean. We like to stay in the Honu suite if it is available. One of the highlights of the Honu suite is the jet equipped bath tub...

An incredible experience, in our studio unit (Hono), with kitchen, balcony hot tub (view of the ocean), and outdoor shower. Truly our most peaceful/relaxing nights of our trip. It was fantastic to walk in to fresh/local flowers in our studio. The breakfast were filling. We had easy access to all the Hana experiences, including Haleakala National Park. Easy walk to...
