We are repeat visitors to Kiahuna Plantation, and I've never found a better place for us to stay in the Poipu area. We LOVE just taking a stroll thru the gardens to the beach. Sun, swim, snorkel without needing to drive! ( Stop at Snorkel Bob's for gear. You'll pass it as you drive in.) The beach here is sandy,...

We loved the location of this resort within walking distance to amenities, as well as the fact that it has it's own beach. We originally reserved a condo with the resort, but after reading reviews of people who got shabby units with bugs (and having experiencing that ourselves at a different resort), we decided to reserve a condo through VRBO...

It's true that the rooms are getting a little dated, but the overall experience was simply wonderful. We didn't need air-conditioning so it didn't matter that there was none. We just opened vents and shutters and enjoyed the fresh air. We had requested a room on the top floor -- got it. We had requested a floor fan because my...

We'd recommend Kiahuna as the go to property in Poipu to anyone. We lucked out getting unit 107 - the room is updated in every imaginable way and far exceeds other such rooms in the complex in terms of creature comforts and updating, many other rooms are dated and in need of upgrades - not unit 107. The weather was...

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and we loved the BBQ's outside close to each unit. Our unit was very well stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen and even had a cooler on wheels which made it very easy to bring food and water to the beaches and on the road while we explored....

This property is quite beautiful. The outside appearance of the buildings and lawns are quite beautiful. There are water treatments and flower beds that are beautiful. In most ways this would be a lovely retirement home. But it is not for me. My unit was dated and one of the electrical outlets didn't work and was never fixed. The kitchen...

Stayed for 3 nights. Well maintained condo, our (cheaper) unit had a 5 min walk to beach. Other units available closer to beach. Staff very pleasant. Convenient to everything on the south side of Kuaia.

Bldg. 42, unit 438. The unit was a good size, nice layout, a one bedroom with a sofa sleeper-For privacy reason, I would not suggest this unit for more than 2 people or a couple. however, the furnishings are quite dated. All of the Furniture needs updating, draperies were outdated, heavy and could have used a good cleaning. We were...

We knew there would be s cleaning fee but it doesn't matter if you are there one night or several. It seems s little steep especially since there are fees for towels or housekeeping....

This another wonderful trip to Kauai and another stay at our favorite....Kiahuna Plantation. We normally book favorite units thru VRBO, but due to unavailability this trip, booked Unit 6 thru Castle. Unit 6 sits right on the beach and the vistas are wonderful...sounds of the surf and sunsets. However...and this is a big however...the unit is in need of immediate...

We are aware of unit #6 needing some help. Location and view - GREAT! But, the appliances and cabinets need replacement. We are working with the owner on handling this. Please feel free to call me on your next visit and I will personally select your unit assignment. Mahalo, Roy Thompson General Manager
