Condo complex on Poipu Beach. Some units are right on beach, others have ocean views, while others garden. Property is very well kept with very large green area next to beach. Beach shack with usual rentals (including surf lessons which happen right in front of green.), chairs, lounges and towels provided to guest with key card. Very family oriented. Convenient...

We stayed in Bld 28, condo 303. We found it nicely decorated with a large balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens below. Although it is a ground floor unit the balcony is about 12 ft above the ground in the back. There were a few minor issues but really nothing to get upset about such as a lack of dishes in...

I was impressed with this spot. Great condos/villas. Spacious and had everything we needed. Comfortable king sized bed, nice bathroom and shower. Kitchen, living room area, dining area and patio. Each unit had their own Wifi, strong signal. Some people complain about no AC, but we did not find this an issue. Ceiling fans kept it cool and during the...

After reviewing the hotels/resorts in Poipu, we decided on the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. Our building was the second building along the second driveway. Our unit was a corner one bedroom on the ground floor. The exterior grounds were beautiful, the building in good shape and the unit was well furnished in good taste. The unit was also in a good...

Just spent 5 nights here in Kuaui. We booked our travel through a third party rental agency. No problems - fantastic process and owners were extremely thoughtful with information for the condo and area. We've stayed at many condo rentals in the past - Key Largo, FL; Honua Kai in Maui, Clearwater Beach, FL and have been to many 5...

Dear LisaLuvsVacations, Thanks for the detailed review. We apologize that our lack of air conditioning put a damper on your vacation. Normally, the units are cooled by the trade winds but I think the weather has been unusual here as it has been in other parts of the country. We are happy to hear you enjoyed Kauai overall. This Outrigger resort is one of the oldest and best "bang for the buck" resorts on Poipu. Situated between the Sheraton (now Marrriott) and Waiohai. I did a 3rd party reservation and stayed for 4 nights in a single bedroom condo. for $1,015 TOTAL (all taxes included) If you know anything about Poipu? Mighty hard to stay under $250 per...

We made our reservation 10 months prior to our trip in hopes of getting the accommodations we requested, third floor, Royal Garden view. So we get first floor with a view of a Plumeria tree and another condo building. Obviously, a matter of semantics, at least to them. The condo was fairly clean but needs upgrading and just general maintenance!...

What a great location. We stayed here for 3 nights only and while expensive when you factor in all of the costs, still less than staying in a hotel with the added convenience of a full kitchen to prepare and store your own food. Our unit was right on the beach beside the Sheraton (building 32) and we couldn't have...

Our condo had very basic supplies for cooking, and basic furniture inside and on balcony. We did get a floor fan from housekeeping- you will need one in the summer. Housekeeping fees are really high- do your research when you book this property. Some are required and others are add-ons. The closer you can get to the water, the happier...

We have frequented Outrigger resort properties for years (20+) and historically have been pleased! This was our first stay at Kiahuna Plantation. Our stay started out bad however ended good! For three of eight nights we were in a back...back...back third story unit, not the room we had (verbally) reserved (however they classify this as "Partial Ocean View"). It was...
