The Palmwood is a top of the line bed and breakfast. This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a getaway that is quiet, natural and peaceful. Awaken to the roosters crowing, an excellent breakfast by the owner and the head out for your day of fun on beautiful Kauai. It is great to stay at a place... More

The Palmwood is a lovely home with three rooms - all separated for privacy. It is centrally located between the north and south ends of the island so it's easy to get anywhere and it's just a short half hour or so from the airport. The Palmwood is in a more rural area, so it's quiet and peaceful. And the... More

Like many of the other reviewers, my husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon for four nights. We could've stayed forever. The Palmwood is truly a special place-- inside and out it is so well curated. The soft linens, the magical outdoor shower, the peaceful pool deck perfect for watching the sunrise, the private porch where we'd watch the... More

My husband and I stayed here for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon in Kauai, and we cannot wait to come back. The Palmwood is tucked into the absolutely stunning Anahola Mountains and Eddi has created an absolutely gorgeous and completely serene retreat for those that stay. The pool area, the grounds, the magical lighting. We were utterly enchanted... More

It is so easy to be disappointed by any experience the second time if you loved it the first time. Because your mind creates even a more euphoric view of the experience and then when you go for second, it is impossible to meet your own expectations. Not so much with The Palmwood! Our second time, three years after the... More

My husband and I stayed at The Palmwood for 9 blissful nights for our delayed honeymoon aka "honeycay". I searched tirelessly for a place that was beautiful and luxurious without a resort type of feel in an area that is, well, mainly occupied with resorts. When we stumbled across The Palmwood it was love at first sight even before we... More

This place is truly paradise. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was the highlight of our trip. The place is simply aesthetically beautiful. You can tell that so much thought was put into every design decision in the house. Eddi, our hostess, was fun, kind, genuine, knowledgeable and an excellent cook. Our breakfasts were our... More

This lovely B&B lived up to all the reviews. From the gorgeous views, to the lovely rooms, to the delicious breakfasts. The rooms were spotless and comfortable and the hot tub was a welcome delight after a long flight. Michael went out of his way to offer great travel advice each morning which was really appreciated. If you're looking for... More

The Palmwood is divine. We were inspired by the beautiful breakfasts and the resemblance to ryokan, which we know well after several years living in Japan. We loved both aspects - retreated and let to ourselves on our lanai and the garden, and will have daydreams about the breakfasts. Take advantage of the hosts' outing advise, never ever miss a... I've been meaning to write this review for a year now, and am finally getting around to it. We stayed here in June of 2015, and it was my first trip to Kauai. I wanted our trip to be perfect, and I must have looked at every single accommodation on the island, but after seeing this one, I knew it... More
