We stayed here several years prior and knew when we came back to Kauai, we'd be staying at Green Acres. The location is not in any town, but is a short drive to everything on the North side as well as the East side. The cottages (we've stayed in all 3) are a nice size with a great little kitchenette... It was such a nice change of pace staying here. We loved having our own little cottage. Best was the fresh fruit and nuts always on hand! We fell in love with the macadamia nuts! Just beware.. you are in the wilderness. We definitely had our fair share of buggies. Fortunately just ants. They love areas like this. But so... More

We didn't care for the decoration of the cottages but they were comfy and spacious. The property was good too, and the location very good for visiting the whole island although we stayed in the south part too.

My husband and I are spent a week in the plumeria room. The property is beautiful, full of fruit trees and flowers. The cottage is a nice size, clean and comfortable. The owners kept us supplied with banana bread which is delicious as well as bananas and fresh fruit. They are very friendly and always ask if we need anything.... More

First off the location was beautiful! My family stayed in the Nautical Nights cottage and enjoyed it. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 1 kiddo age 4. Tony and Diane were great hosts. They checked in with us to see if we needed anything such as towels, and offered us a cot for our kiddo. We arrived late and... More

Stayed 4 nights here and wished it could have been more. As others have said, the hosts go above and beyond to make one's stay pleasant. And yes, there are bugs, but duh, it's the tropics people! If you want a sanitized version of paradise, stay at the Hyatt. We so enjoyed cracking macadamia nuts on the lanai while drinking... More

Full disclosure - I would only give less than 5 stars to a North end accommodation costing $75 per night (with no cleaning fee!) if something went truly wrong. That being said, apart from the fantastic price, this place had some other real benefits. The owners are lovely. My partner and I stayed in the Plumeria cottage, and the only... More

Recently we have been in Green Acres Cottages for 4 days with my family (2 adults and 2 children) and I would say Green Acres Cottages is a excellent place to be in your holidays in Kauai. Tony and Diane, the owners of the cottage have been an extraordinary support for us, helping us everyday with all. They are excellent... More

We had a lovely stay at the Green Acres Gazebo Cottage. Our arrival was welcomed by homemade carrot cake and fresh grapefruit, bananas and papaya in our cottage. The cottage was comfortable and sweetly decorated. We used and appreciated both ceiling fans and windows with screens. The shower and tub had plenty of hot water. The kitchen in the unit... More

Stayed one night at the Nautical Dreams Cottage. Room is nice and clean. Tony is a wonderful host! The room offers two twin beds and a queen bed. There is a small kitchenette and a small bathroom in this room. The breakfast includes some local fresh fruit and some banana bread/muffins. The location is convenient however hard to find when...
