Nice location.. but it is definitely not more than a 3 star.. the units are roomy, clean but very old school.. the location is great especially if you get an ocean front room.. absolutely ask for a 3rd floor unit because you will hear every noice above you if you don't !! The staff is very friendly and helpful and...

My wife and I stayed here and had a great time. We got a top floor suite with a great view of the ocean. After reading some bad reviews about bugs etc...I'm wondering if those people always stay in 5 star resorts. We did lots of bike riding on the path right in front of the resort and stopped at...

This resort has lovely grounds, is well maintained, and is located close to lots of restaurants, located on the beach. We were able to walk to several really good restaurants. We were overlooking the courtyard, but we could also see the beach from our room, just a short walk across the courtyard and you were on the beach. hey offer...

The resort is quiet - there is no restaurant, lounge or scheduled activities. They try hard to sell you excursions off the resort. The rooms were very disappointing - carpet that was very musty & due to the damp climate, rarely dry. It is very strange that the rooms wouldn't instead have tiled flooring that would allow them to be...

We stayed here on ground floor at a condo that was very well stocked. No AC was fine in November - and it's nice because you don't hear AC units running all the time like you typically do. Good location on the island to head south or north - i.e. day exploring. Pool looked nice although we're not really pool...

Location is central to the north and south of the island resort is nicely kept. Staff were always friendly, cleaning staff extremely nice! The location to Kapaa, a historic funky town was perfect for walking. Beach was swimable. Our unit was dated but clean. We were water front so the patio was nice though the patio furniture was cheap uncomfortable...

Spent a week in early November. The staff was very helpful. Room was ready early. We had a redone room in building G with ocean view. It had a large, well equipped kitchen, great for cooking for a family. Unfortunately, the bedrooms are in the back with windows on the outdoor hallway. Even so, it wasn't too loud at night,...

We had a 1 bedroom condo. The room was nice and big. It had a musty smell around the couch so we called the front desk and let them know. They sent maintenance out right a way to clean the ac which was above the couch. Smelled better but noticed the couch smelled like urine so another call we made...

My wife and I recently spent a week at the beautiful Pono Kai Resort. We were totally pleased with the friendly staff and the great accommodations of this resort. The grounds are very well maintained. This resort is currently in the process of remodeling and improving. We could not even tell that there was any construction and remodeling in process....

This is a great location if you want to travel the island as we did. Central to all roads. About the same travel time to the last points in all directions. Everyone was very friendly, happy to talk, good advice. BUT NOT THE FRONT DESK LADIES. Someone must have told them not to smile. I got one to smile for...
