Avoid this condo at all cost. I should been on alert when I requested driving directions 3 times without a response from Aloha Condos, eventually found our way, and arrived at 10 pm with no lockbox code. I called the property manager, we got into the condo, only to be met with stale, musty, pesticide odor. We immediately started to... More

We wish you had stayed until the morning to enjoy the beautiful view from the lanais and enjoy the close proximity to the ocean. This is a very comfortable and quaint condo in a quiet and private location. Our properties are advertised with explicit detail and descriptions including many photos as to give each guest an extensive overview of each... More

Unit 13 ( oceanfront). Plenty of parking space ( we were a bit worried there would be none because we arrived kind of late ( 10;30pm). As soon as we opened the door, we knew that we would love our stay at Kapaa Sands. The place was spotlessly clean. The murphy bed was very comfortable in my opinion. Be aware that... More

It's nice to find a oceanfront hotel, in a beautiful setting, that's not a zoo! Never a problem finding a chair by the pool, no lines any where. The staff, I mean all the staff, are there to help. Friendly, competent and professional. Had a very good experience at the oceanfront bar and restaurant. Mia, James, Katie, Jen, Everett, I... More

Great stay from 4/17/16 - 4/24/16 in Unit 13. Nice and peaceful, relaxing. We were gone all day exploring the island.Hiking, snorkeling, visiting with family who live in Kapaa. Kitchen met our needs, used Bbq by pool too. Safeway ,Foodland close by, Costco in Lihue. Passion Cafe and another little place close by to grab something for the morning. Staff... More

We stayed in Unit 22 in the back row with an ocean view right next to the pool. The view was great and you could slightly hear the waves crashing. There is lovely tropical foliage throughout the grounds and it is beautiful. The wi-fi worked great too! That is where the pros end. I believe each unit is individually owned,... More

We Stayed in a cozy, nicely decorated upper floor studio condo. The space was totally updated and the view was breathtaking. Everything we needed was in the condo including a few basic essentials to get us going. We loved staying here and would recommend this unit highly.

This place is a great little resort. Only 20 units or so. We stayed in one of the oceanfront units, #14. It was a studio with a small bathroom and a kitchen with everything we needed. We spent most of our time on the lanai and the ocean is right there. For the price this place is a really good... More

Stay at Kapaa Sands feb 2016. This was our first time in Kauii. Upon arrival we checked in and we were surprised at how dated the rooms were. Very small room without ac. We stayed in unit 13 and they don't supply any of the things you would expect while renting a condo. The hide away bed was like sleeping... More

We booked a unit literally one year in advance. Then the condo was sold to another owner who didn't want to rent out the unit. So the mgt folks found a different unit for that time period which we accepted. But then THAT condo changed hands and they offered a 2 BR condo 'ocean front' for part of the time,... More

We feel so lucky that we chose Kapaa Sands. We secured an ocean front studio condo which was about 20 steps from the sea. We saw more whales, dolphins and sea turtles from our lanai than we did in any other setting. On a practical note, the room was quaint and charmingly decorated. There were more than adequate kitchen supplies... More
