Awesome. We had terrific service, incredibly tasty food (my husband says it's the best "catch of the day" he's ever had), and you can't beat the location on the beach. We went for lunch, but I can imagine it would be just as good for supper.
If you're in the sun, you may want to apply sunscreen or wear a cover up.
Go there. Enjoy. You're welcome.

We had the privilege of staying for 2 nights in Wa’a, the fourth cottage, and were entranced by the location and amenities. Sipping coffee on the front lanai as the sun rose each day was incredibly relaxing as the waves rose and fell and colors changed. We enjoyed the fresh bananas that were hung from the eaves as they ripened and the friendly resident cats when they stopped by to great us.
The cottage is beautifully furnished to reflect the colors and feel of the tropics. The bed was very comfortable, the bath amenities high end, and the cottage absolutely pristine.
We appreciated the beauty of the trees surrounding the cottage with their twisting trunks that afforded much privacy and shade.
Chelsea, the cottage manager, provided very clear instructions regarding the check in procedures and was friendly and helpful with suggestions on area activities. This was an exceptional experience!

Boy oh boy did we get lucky to find these cottages. I’m so happy we booked with them. The cottages are huge well appointed in a great location. Everything is with walking distance or you can hope on a bike. The airport is about a 20-25 min drive. The property’s manager Debra is a phenomenal host. She was always readily available & very knowledgeable with great ideas before we booked, during & after. The location you can not beat. Falling asleep & waking up to the sounds of the ocean waves. It is a public beach but it doesn’t get crowded. You have a bushes & a tree in front of your room the blocks & separates you from other people. We stayed on the cottage 2nd from the restaurant Hale Moana. When we go back we plan booking all 4 cottages for our family members. Definitely beats staying at one of the chain restaurants. It was so difficult to leave.

My friend and I stayed 4 nights at one of the 4 cottages at LLBC and had the perfect Hawaiian vacation. Each cottage is right on a sandy beach, with palm trees, sea turtles resting, amazing sunsets, and a fantastic variety of daily live music and Hulu dancers...truly paradise!! It's refreshing to have air conditioning when needed, and a large, private outdoor shower. When you don't feel like driving the LavaLave restaurant is perfect for lunch or dinner. Everything in the cottage was comfortable and perfectly appointed! We will definitely be back again soon! Thank you to all of the LLBC staff for your kindness and ALOHA!

3 couple went there last night for dinner. Our waiter “ Christian “ was excellent! Our food was average. The first item to come was a dish of “ cold” Onion rings . Christian replaced them when we asked for hot ones. Then the dishes that came with rice , had a hard overcooked layer of burnt rice in the bottom next to the plate. Not eatable. My burger and fry’s were good . But we only had one dish with fish and rice, my burger and fry’s and one beer and water. A little over rated for $114.00 plus tip! The onion rings were in my brother in law’s bill. Good spot , good service. Over inflated pricing for the quality !

Fabulous location, amazing luxurious accommodation. Stylish, comfortable and clean with the best views. Stepping into the sand with turtles popping up or sleeping nearby was dreamy. Great snorkelling and paddle boarding. We used the bikes to cycle for breakfast nearby, but otherwise didn’t want to leave. The outdoor shower amongst the banana tree was dreamy. Strolling for dinner at the Lava Lava club was excellent. This place is outstanding!!

We love staying at the cottages. We've been there twice, but our second stay lacked the uniqueness of our first stay. We missed the hanging bunches of bananas on our porch, the morning fruit tray, the evening delivery of cocktails and appetizers, the gift card to the restaurant, and the wristbands that gave us quick access to restaurant seating. Management said they stopped those extras because of COVID. I really hope they bring those items back. We don't believe COVID had anything to do with eliminating them. Maybe they are just recouping COVID losses?

Staying at the Lava Lava Beach Club cottages were the highlight of our trip. The setting right on the beach was perfect and they provided nice amenities like bikes, paddle boards and morning fruit/afternoon drinks. We swam with sea turtles almost every day and the views of the ocean/bay were just perfect. Having the Lava Lava beach club restaurant nearby was also very convenient.
The cottage was well maintained and housekeeping/administrative staff were very helpful. Only possible downside was a fairly constant stream of people strolling the beach in front of the cottage during the day but everyone was very respectful and did not intrude. We will definitely be back.

My friend and I went into Lava Lava for dinner and drinks. Jed was out server and we were impressed by his level of professionalism and customer service. The restaurant was crowded with lots of parties and we observe Jed not only handle himself well with these other parties but also didn't let that sway him from being an above exception server to his other tables including us. We look forward to returning to Lava Lava because of the excellent dining experience provided by Jed. Give him a raise. Now.

We paid $450 for the second unit from the restaurant. We'd highly recommend it. Extras like food and drinks, and more, and no extra resort or parking fees. The staff is exceptional as well.
There is a huge day bed at the front of the cottage. It would comfortably sleep two. There is also a king size bed. It was a wonderful experience to stay at Lava Lava!
There are more places to choose from in the Waikoloa area.
