The Aloha Junction B&B is located in Volcano Village just behind the Post Office noted for proximity to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park 1 mile away and restaurants in town. Guests also enjoy the 1930's old plantation structure providing five spaciousness rooms and electric blankets for those chilly nights in the rainforest. In addition free parking and well attended-to well-behaved children are welcome.
Each room has it's own coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave but a "must have" is a complimentary breakfast including fresh-ground coffee, Papaya-banana boats along with sausages and toast or yogurt and boiled eggs.
After spending time in this "Drive-in" style National Park, most people want to include to hike. The Park Headquarters have maps to include range of difficulty ~ but evidence shows even the strongest skeptics that Kilauea is still a very active volcano.
Loved everything about the Aloha Junction. Erika was great and helped us plan our visit. The location could not be better and breakfast is delicious and varied. Would absolutely come back and recommend.
A group of us (four friends) stayed at Aloha Junction for an overnight trip to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park from Kona where we were vacationing for a week. The peace and quiet of the property, comfortable, clean rooms, and perfect breakfast were just what we needed. Walked to dinner at the Ohelo Cafe. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was pure "Aloha" spirit!
Loved it, beautiful piece of paradise! Thank you so much. If you love the idea of paradise you should come here. Nice restaurant nearby great people, just perfect. You got a like rain though of course it is a rainforest.
A most enjoyable stay! Cleanliness, hospitality all top notch. This property is a perfect location for exploring the Volcano area. Good eateries close by. The location away from the city allows for the most beautiful star gazing on a clear night.
Conveniently located within a five-minute drive from Kilauea National Park. The room was clean and well kept, with a private entrance through the veranda, or public one through the dining area. A simple but filling breakfast is served every day of your stay, if you opt for it (it’s extra). There is a small refrigerator/freezer in your room if you want your own breakfast. The kitchen is open for guests to use in the evening. The Ohelo Cafe is a short walk away, along with a convenience store. Parking on site. There are only five rooms, making it a quiet place to rest. There is free WiFi. Great place, highly recommended!
