This was a last minute reservation and we couldn't find a place to stay. How lucky!!!! They have a beautiful garden full of flowers and our room, the Blue room was perfect for us. Comfortable bed and a single bed for our son. They had a microwave, an electric pot, coffee, chocolate powder and even plastic forks... They provide a... More

We couldn't have asked for better accomodations in Volcano. While we're typically bias towards large, high rise hotels, we found everything we were looking for at My Island Inn. The owner was very welcoming and gave us a quick tour of the property on arrival. The room was spacious, clean, and included everything we could have needed. The location is... More

This is my second experience staying at My Island Inn and I spent my 5 nights in the lovely Blue Room. Pluses: Friendly, knowledgeable hosts Organized and streamlined booking and check-in Five minute drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Clean, comfortable room and shared lanai (check out the ingenious white bench that folds up into a picnic table!) with beautifully... Nice little cottage room in a super quiet area and beautiful garden, it rains a lot though in this area of the island. Super helpful and friendly owner. We spent 4 nights with day trips to the south, east and Mauna Kea.

We spent two nights in the yellow room. The location is perfect for visiting Volcano National Park. The owners have a beautiful garden with many kinds of Hawaiian flowers. We enjoyed walking through it. It was very quiet and peaceful place. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay.

After the hustle and bustle of the ocean and Kona, coming to My Island Inn was a gorgeous, quiet, perfect get away. Situated on the edge of a rainforest, the grounds are fabulous for those who enjoy plants and birds. I was in the Red Studio. It was great as I could reheat leftovers, or enjoy a snack in the... An old estate in the heart of Volcano village, My Island Inn has gorgeous gardens, delightful hosts, and offers an economical stay in this very touristy area. Having a microwave and refrigerator in the room allows for independence from restaurants. We have stayed here many times over the years and are never disappointed. Highly recommended.

We spent 2 nights here, which was not enough. The proximity to Volcanos National Park was perfect! The hosts really wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms(we had 2) were nice and the showers were surprisingly good! This location is not for the traveler that wants luxury, but more so for the adventure/experience traveler.

I stayed here for just one night in the yellow room. I wish I had stayed longer but hadn't planned my trip that way. The room was comfortable and the gardens are beautiful. It's really well located close to the volcano, you have to see the glow at night - awesome!!

We arrived late at the inn but we had already the code to get into our room (which was sent to us previously by email) and there was a binder with all the necessary information about local dining options (with respective menus), wifi password, etc. The rooms have fridge stocked with water, coffee maker and heater (which is essential in...
