We very much enjoyed our stay! We had a great time on the Big Island, and this location was perfect, close to the Volcanos Park. The room was very modern and spacious. The property has a beautiful walking path with a garden. We liked that the breakfast was ready to prepare from the mini fridge each morning. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We definitely will be back!
The location is so convenient to the National Park, and the estate is lovely, including a charming rainforest stroll. The owners take excellent care of the property and you do feel like you are staying at their home. Super comfortable and quiet with as much privacy as you would need. It was wonderful to hear the birds in the evening and morning hours. The room amenities were excellent and the food was very tasty and healthy too. The WiFi here is better than what we were able to get in Kona 😊 We would stay here again for sure.
This was our first stop on our Hawaiian vacation. As soon as we pulled into the drive way, we knew we selected a wonderful place. The property is well manicured and the accommodations are wonderful. The room was modern, clean and is a direct reflection of the photos online. However, the accommodations are not the only thing lovely about this property. The continental breakfast of fresh fruit and baked breads along with the sounds of nature are an additional benefit of staying here. If you are looking for a B&B, stay at the Hale 'Ohu B&B, you won't be disappointed.
Set in a beautiful location, this accommodation was just perfect. Lovely place to stay, nice room, warm showers and delicious home made breakfast. I appreciated the heating in the room, especially after we got soaked in the rain from our walk around the Volcano National Park.
We loved the beautiful, modern, clean and welcoming B & B. The hosts are super and knowledgeable about the region. The patio view into the garden (red ginger room) was wonderful and walking the trail into the rainforest was great. The best was the bird life, including the family of Kalij pheasants that wandered through the property twice per day, it made the trip. The continental breakfasts were delicious, I could eat the papaya bowl every day. The visitor guide in the room gave a heads up of local attractions and restaurants. We highly recommend you stay and are looking forward to a return visit.
