Great place to stay, a bit remote, but soooo beautiful. The unit was beautiful, spacious and amazing view of the Volcano's and ocean. Black Sand beach was an easy walk, a beautiful beach for swimming relaxing and watching the sea turtles. Gorgeous sunrise. They were so nice an friendly and helpful at the resort, you do need to bring food,... More

We stayed at Sea Mountain last year for 1 week and enjoyed it so much, we stayed there 2 weeks this year. It is true, there is no AC, but plenty of ceiling and floor fans to keep you cool. If you want relaxation, this is the place. Wonderful BBQ area next to the pool/spa, which over looks the golf... More

First of all, donʻt arrive between 12 noon and 1 p.m. Their office is closed for lunch. The good: It is a clean getaway spot that is a stones throw from an amazing blacksand beach. The pool and jacuzzi were both clean and the area well-kept. The bad: no A/C. The walking path to the blacksand beach is completely overgrown so... More

We got to the resort and the room was nice. It had no air conditioning but we decided to let that go. It was a gorgeous view, good condo. We had a pleasant trip despite no AC. We were there for 2 weeks, maid service came once, and did not change the sheets, just made the bed. The resort people... More

We are very sorry to hear of your disappointing experience. I would like you to know that tipping is not mandatory or expected. As we are a timeshare resort not a hotel there is no daily maid service. A weekly clean is provided once a week for any stay over 7 nights. I apologize if the weekly clean was not... More

The resort condo we stayed at was absolutely paradise. Very clean and the people were very helpful and kind. We watched waves crash into the rocky shore from our back kitchen window. A five minute walk from the condo brought us onto the famous Black Sand Beaches where we watched endangered sea turtles basking in the sun. The beaches were... More

If you're looking for a beautiful and quiet resort, this one is for you! Our 1 bedroom, 1 bath, fully equipped condo was situated on the Southeastern tip of Hawaii. It's location does make it a bit difficult to see the rest of the Big Island, with an average time of 2-2 1/2 hours needed to drive to Kona or... More

Room was well appointed, the only thing to let it down was lack of air conditioning. The place is really remote with quite a distance to the nearest places to buy food and drink. They could really do with a poolside bar which sold snacks, I enjoyed my stay here and would consider returning if air con was installed in... More

We have VI timeshare so we decided to stay in both places offered while we were on the big island. One was Sea Mountain and the other Sea Village. Staying at Sea Village made me appreciate Sea Mtn all the more. So peaceful and away from it all. The downside is that you are really away from it all. This... More

Our one bedroom condo came with a complete kitchen, two televisions and a Murphy bed for a third person if needed. The unit was clean and had every amenity we desired. The setting was perfect; isolated, quiet and with a picture perfect view of the Pacific. Early mornings were spent on the lanai having breakfast. The only people we saw... More

We stayed in unit 75 which was a perfect spot and view of the ocean. Stayed here through Diamond Resorts. We were surprised that there was not a Walmart or big supermarket for 1.5 hours away! However, there was a small local grocery store about 30 minutes away. If you want to stock up, get yourself (we did) a small... More
