What a great surprise! So much more than expected. Amazing location, with falls all to ourselves 2 of the 3 days. Very laid back. Full, nice and updated functional kitchen in each house available to each unit made it so easy for coffee, tea, self created happy hour, etc. Beautiful grounds. Very informative staff to help with daytime plans in...

We spent two nights at the Inn and the highlights for us were breakfasts on the veranda overlooking the waterfall, the breakfast waffles and the comfort of the bed and bedding. You can swim or kayak in the pool under the falls. Grounds were very nicely maintained and pleasant to walk. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were quiet...

Had a wonderful stay with my wife. The balance of calming peacefulness and fun waterfalls and hikes. Proximity to downtown was great for food options, and to go to nearby attractions like lava flows and OK Farms. Very picturesque location. Also very close to the Hilo Airport.

We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. Sleeping with the sound of the waterfall coming through the windows was perfect, and swimming near the waterfall was amazing! We will stay again the next time we get to the Big Island.

I don't think I've ever seen a place this beautiful. Waterfall outside the window was amazing. Beds and bedding fantastic quality. Trails, grounds and swimming in waterfall pool a definite highlight. Only slight area for improvement is breakfast - fresh fruit was great, but could use some kind of protein.

Hosts are truly gracious regarding use of the area the day of check-in and check-out. The Falls are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from the deck or from hiking to the pool. Swimming is by permission only based on the conditions. I would recommend the less physical types take an abbreviate hike. Again, a lovely relaxed atmosphere and timeless location...

The rooms and shared kitchen and eating spaces were comfortable and very well maintained. The highlight of our stay was having a waterfall view from the balcony and the bathroom. The bamboo trails made for a beautiful low-intensity hike. We also enjoyed gathering and cracking macadamia nuts! Breakfasts were very good...waffles, tropical breads, fruits and juices and wonderful Hawaiian coffee....

Even with the rain, the visit was the highlight of our trip to hawaii. Only wish we had spent more than just one night and the rain hadn't made swimming under the falls impossible. Perfect central location to see the east side of the island.
