You want to be near the water in Captain Cook, so that you can make your way to the memorial. This fabulous place offers a short walk to multiple places where you can rent a kayak to get there. But I'm getting ahead of myself. The most important aspect of this place are the hostesses, Robin and Maka-ala'a. My very... More

We had a lovely time staying at the B&B. The property is beautiful, the Ali'i room spacious and airy with gorgeous views of the bay. Getting into a jacuzzi tub after our nearby excursions was AMAZING (two step snorkeling twice since it was so close + a kayak trip with Kona boys through the bay to Captain cook). Robin was... More

Everything was absolutely perfect about our stay. Beautiful views, delicious breakfast, and a clean beautiful room! If you can, stay in the Master Suite. The views that you wake up to are breathtaking. Loved the open air suite. Robin is so thoughtful and is a wealth of knowledge on anything you would want to do in that area or around... More

Great view, great breakfasts, time to play with Huxley and learn a lot about the local culture. We felt like it was our home for the time we were there. A place to renew and restore. We ended up laughing and singing every day.

Only minutes from Kealakekua Bay and a great snorkeling beach, with comfortable rooms and welcoming public spaces, it's hard to believe there's a better place to stay if your destination is South Kona. Robin, the innkeeper, is warm and friendly, without being cloying, and super helpful about the area's atractions, restaurants, etc. We stayed in the Ali'i suite, and recommend... More

Lovely, clean, comfortable room (best sheets ever), looking out on the yard and then out to the bay. Delicious breakfast with local fruit. Robin was a terrific and knowledgeable innkeeper, with wonderful dog Huxley. Snorkeling equipment on hand, walkable to kayak rental. Overall, a very comfortable stay, no complaints at all.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. Robin and Huxley the dog make this so special. We watched dolphins playing in the bay and geckos playing in the rafters. Great views, great rooms, great bed, great service, great breakfast. We just can't say enough about this wonderful place. We hope to come back!

Cannot say enough wonderful things! The innkeeper Robin and the sweet Huxley (golden retriever) make for the kindest most welcoming hosts. This gorgeous house looks out onto Kealakekua Bay, and is surrounded by lush fruit, flowering trees and coconut. Walk out onto the grounds and watch the sunset while lighting the fire pit, or lookout from the huge covered lanai... More

Fantastic Setting with unrivaled views if the sea and a wonderful garden, only the voices of the ocean and birds to hear. Very spacious, well equipped and atttractice room of high Standard. All this topped by Robin as a very charming and professional host and excellent Cook in addition. Higly recommendable, if you look for a quiet relaxing place with... More

It's a lovely, comfortable house - a home away from home - and Robyn cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable and your time on the Big Island interesting. And that is on top of the sublime breakfast she prepares every morning using local ingredients and products! Hire a kayak to get over to the Captain Cook monument for... More
