A truly magnificent bed and breakfast up in the hillside near Captain Cook. The hosts, Lee and Svetlana, were very nice and friendly. They made us feel welcome, and would help us with any requests. They gave very good suggestions for places to see and things to do - good tips from the locals is often more valuable than what... More

I searched online for days looking for the perfect place to stay on the big island. I'm so happy I found this guest house! We arrived during a weekend that was supposed to see 2 major storms and were bummed that we might be rained in. Luckily the west side of the island doesn't get much rain and we had... More

We consulted TripAdvisor before booking our stay and the reviews don't lie! It's everything it's cracked up to be...and more. Lee and Svetlana are consummate hosts, from the moment you're welcomed into their home until you (sadly!) have to leave. The road leading to the house lives up to the review as well, but once you've endured the internal organ... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aloha Guest House! Lee and Svetlana were so welcoming and friendly and really made us feel at home. Definitely listen to Lee's recommendations for food as the places we went to on his recommendation were great! The property itself is amazing, well maintained, has beautiful views from the lanai, and has all the amenities... More

We loved staying with Lee and Svetlana. The b&b is gorgeous and Svetlana's breakfast cooking is fantastic restaurant standard! There were great amenities and the horizon room was just beautiful. The road is really not bad - just drive slow! - but bear in mind, nothing is walking distance away. This didn't bother us but it's good to know. Amazing... More

Lee and Svetlana will welcome you as if you were a guest of their own family. The house is very nice and breakfast is amazing with only stuff produced on the property from organic eggs to wonderful fruits. Rooms are perfectly clean and beds very comfy. The garden is lush and beautiful. Loads of fruit trees and even stunning amazing... More

Everything about our four night stay at the Aloha Guest House was wonderful. The attention to detail and that extra care taken on every aspect of the house makes such a big difference. Svetlana and Lee were incredible hosts and I am sure could make a fortune on a global speaking tour teaching our B&B operators and hotels how to... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights at Aloha Guest House. After taking in the sights on the island, snorkeling and paddle boarding during the day, it was so nice to spend the evenings in such a gorgeous, peaceful setting. The bed was extremely comfortable and I just loved sitting out on the lanai and taking in the incredible view of... More

This was our first trip to Hawaii, visiting Ohau - Big Island - Maui - Kauai. We have stayed in hotels, Airbnb and guesthouses. The Aloha Guest House stood oud due its beautiful setting, personal contact with Lee & Svetlana, very comfy room & mjummie breakfast. During our stay we were the only visitors basically having the whole place for... More

This is my home away from home on the Big Island. Lee & Svetlana are gracious, comfortable hosts that provide the best local advice and gourmet breakfasts. The Kona coffee they serve is amazing, fresh ground and fresh brewed for every cup. The fellow guests are always a pleasure to interact with, and combined with Lee & Svetlana's hospitality, makes...
