Stayed one night after a long drive through Yellowstone and on our way back East. Decently priced. Clean, but dated room. Air conditioner worked and they had coffee in the morning, both of which were necessities! As someone else mentioned, the shower head is quite low but the hot water worked. All in all, it worked for what was needed for the night.
Hi. This hotel is very clean and comfortable. The reason for the review is to highlight how friendly and compassionate the owners were to my wife and I. If you are ever in Worland, I highly recommend this hotel.
I would rate it 0 if that were an option. The bugs freaked me out - one was in the bed and one was on my bag. And then another kind of bug not pictured here. They were probably not bed bugs, but just another sign of filth. The breakfast was not true continental as there was no fruit, neither was there ANY protein options - bread, jam, butter, packaged rolls, oatmeal, tea, juice, coffee, 2 kinds of cereal flakes- THAT’S IT! You have to hold the toilet handle to flush. The shampoo/conditioner was one tiny rip-open pack of a few watery drops of oily mess that barely frothed. At least I am drinking my morning coffee as I write this.
This motel was acceptable but definitely not perfect. There is a lot of work to be done on it for this place to fit it's price. However, the beds were comfortable and the place was fairly quiet so we made it work.
I stayed in this motel because the Days Inn was booked, and the Comfort Inn seemed outlandishly expensive. I had read various reviews that talked about the property having an odd smell, but discounted them since I assumed it was likely the residue of past smokers (which wouldn't really have bothered me). Well, I don't know what the smell is, but it isn't smoke. The closest description I could muster was the fake butter stuff that comes with microwave popcorn. Really...the whole property smells like that! Strongly! I think they desperately need to shampoo the carpets or something because it really is off-putting. In other ways the motel is adequate--the bedding and towels seemed clean. There are little in the ways of amenities, and the breakfast was truly sad (coffee and some pathetic little preservative-laden donuts). My toilet was a bit questionable--two flushes at least each time. I guess I might return in a pinch if everything else was booked. But really, just make a reservation at the Days Inn if you can. It costs a bit more, but the owners truly care, and it doesn't smell funny.…
