This motel was acceptable but definitely not perfect. There is a lot of work to be done on it for this place to fit it's price. However, the beds were comfortable and the place was fairly quiet so we made it work.

This was the only hotel with a vacancy within 80 miles,so I had little choice. The entrance is in the back and the lobby is tiny and shares the 2 table breakfast area. You are immediately hit with the smell of curry when you enter. the room was average with low water pressure in the shower and terribly weak wifi. Breakfast wasn't much but it matched the room rate so I wasn't disappointed. You can tell this was previously a chain hotel, maybe Super 8 or Econolodge which has been sold off to a private owner.

I stayed in this motel because the Days Inn was booked, and the Comfort Inn seemed outlandishly expensive. I had read various reviews that talked about the property having an odd smell, but discounted them since I assumed it was likely the residue of past smokers (which wouldn't really have bothered me). Well, I don't know what the smell is, but it isn't smoke. The closest description I could muster was the fake butter stuff that comes with microwave popcorn. Really...the whole property smells like that! Strongly! I think they desperately need to shampoo the carpets or something because it really is off-putting. In other ways the motel is adequate--the bedding and towels seemed clean. There are little in the ways of amenities, and the breakfast was truly sad (coffee and some pathetic little preservative-laden donuts). My toilet was a bit questionable--two flushes at least each time. I guess I might return in a pinch if everything else was booked. But really, just make a reservation at the Days Inn if you can. It costs a bit more, but the owners truly care, and it doesn't smell funny.

A very simple inn, apparently recently repainted, with new carpets and new ownership. Very clean.Don't expect a whopping breakfast, or up to date facilities. But the wi fi is very good and the proprietors happy to oblige. I'd be happy to stay here again -- if I had to come to Worland, that is...

I am not overly picky about much of anything when it comes to hotels. I've stayed in some real stinkers over the years. That being said, I had to write a review about the Sunset Inn. I hadn't assumed a room for $100/night would be a luxury suite, but sheets that fit the bed and a clean toilet seem like not too much to ask for that price. The room is decent but dated. Despite the A/C constantly running, the room is still humid and warm. The sheets seem clean but are old and don't fit the mattresses at all so by morning they are completely off the bed. The individually wrapped plastic cups were all open when we arrived. The bathtub looks dirty and has no pressure and barely has warm water. The toilet is dirty but has a paper cup with 'Tips' written on it sitting on top of the tank. They did offer to give us fresh towels each day, which was nice, but it really doesn't make up for the shortfalls. The breakfast in the lobby consists of cereal and packages of oatmeal and packaged cinnamon rolls. The lobby and staircases smell like cigarettes. The empty parking lot should have been a sign. I would never stay here again, nor recommend this hotel.
