Wonderful! Absolutely enjoyed our stay! The hideout is like a luxurious tree house! The corner window view from our room, Gun Slinger, was breathtaking. Deer would come with 15 feet of the window. Beds were comfortable, room was very clean as well as the rest of the B&B. Amy and Eddie were outgoing and very friendly, breakfast was delicious. They knew my husband really wanted to see a moose and they were thoughtful enough to text us to let us know they saw a moose and where so we were able to see a family of moose! Overall this was an awesome experience! The pictures I added, except the on of the B&B, are from inside our room.

I can't say enough good things about this B&B! The location in the forest is close to the center of Jackson Hole but far enough away to not be involved with the crowds...its also close to the west entrance to Grand Teton National Park and Teton Village is you ski or just want some alternate restaurant choices. The lodge is beautiful. The main room where you can relax, watch TV or play games is magnificent and overlooked by the the dining area upstairs. The furnishings and decor are very tasteful and authentic and our room was spotless and had a tiled walk in shower and spa toiletries. We were supplied with everything we could possibly need. When we went hiking Beth gave us a Coleman hamper to keep food cool and the room had bug spray and binoculars! We were able to take water, fruit and an energy bar from the well stocked kitchen area and Greg made sure we took some bear spray. They also provide you with a canvas shopping bag and laundry bag to use while you visit. I also noticed the room had an umbrella! The breakfasts were delicious, the bed was beyond comfortable and the linens were sumptuous. This is truly a 5 star B&B and deserves all the accolades it receives...just don't go there when I want to book a room ;)

Beth and Greg are great and have some good stories to tell and we even saw 3 moose on the property when driving home after dinner. We will always stay here when visiting this area in the future.

First Time B&B for my fiancé and I. We were a little skeptical at first just because of it being a B&B. We travel a lot and have had plenty of nice stays in 5 star hotels but what all those places lacked and were missing was a JOE & ELLENA!! Can I just start off by saying WOW!
We loved everything about the Hideout. The rooms were clean, ( balconies have great views if you don’t get one of the mountains I’m sure you will find the best view of nature and see a moose or other wildlife in my mind moose trumps mountains) beds & pillows were extremely comfortable, breakfast was finger licking good! (Thanks to Joe’s fancy chef skills!) but most importantly the hosts were beyond amazing! Joe was always available to his guest anytime of day making sure everyone was comfortable, had what they needed and were happy. He knew when guest were arriving greeted us at the door, as well as leaving and made sure he said his farewell, showed us to our rooms, let us have time to settle in, gave us a tour of the place and made us feel right at home! Showed us extra supplies like back packs, flash lights, water bottles, lunch boxes and more and would allow us to borrow what ever we forgot to bring. He also showed us the pantry which was my favorite spot due to Joe’s freshly made baked goods. His communication again went above and beyond and would make sure he had something cooked and ready to go for those who left the hideout before 7:30 am. He made us to go containers on the day we had an early excursion. All the other days he did a fine job whipping up something extremely tasty every morning. Words cannot explain the breakfast Joe would make. On top of that catered to you and would come clean up after you! (I said no way Jose and would help clean up after myself and boy did I surprise him and he couldn’t stop thanking me for cleaning up after my self.. like who does that) lol. Joe was very personable too and very easy to talk to. He would make a fire for anyone who asked or would have one ready if he knew you spent the day hitting the slopes or anything else that pertained to the cold weather. Joe had such a passion for his job that it translated to pure excellence in his job! Well done HideOut for employing such a remarkable staff member! Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return to stay in the future! I don’t think I could possibly stay anywhere else. You have set the bar high and now I don’t think I could even stay at another B&B. I feel like my expectations will be let down because Joe and Ellana are what made the hideout a place I never wanted to leave. Let’s just say my fiancé had to drag me out the door! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We miss you Joe & Ellena and our friend in the woods!

The Hideout was the absolute best B&B our family has ever experienced. The host were so down to earth and wanted to make us feel welcomed, opened their home so we felt at home, the rooms were SPOTLESS, very comfy beds, breakfast were great all 3 mornings and to top it off we had wildlife visit every day including bull moose, a mother moose and her 2 babies along with mule deer. Well worth it!!

We loved our 5-night stay at Jackson Hole Hideout in August. The breakfast was delicious and the amenities were amazing as well- one of our favorite parts of the trip was sitting out on the front balcony overlooking the mountains and seeing deer walk by! The location was convenient to Downtown Jackson but was also far enough away where you weren't surround by the hustle and bustle of the city. It was an easy drive over to Driggs, Idaho and Swan Valley as well. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Jackson!

The Jackson Hole Hideout is such a gem! You are able to experience nature and privacy while being 15 minutes from Jackson and all that offers. The innkeeper Joe truly goes above and beyond- every detail is considered and perfected! The accommodations are gorgeous, breakfast is unbelievably delicious, and the vibe is so welcoming and homey. Joe treated us like we were family in the best way- he is so warm, friendly and kind! You will have such an amazing experience here! We can’t wait to come back again hopefully soon! Thank you so much for a perfect stay, Joe!!!

My husband and I stayed in the Marshall Room at Jackson Hole Hideout for 3 nights. We truly enjoyed our stay. Greg and Beth were very kind, generous, and offered some great suggestions on where to hike and dine! We enjoyed hearing their travel stories too! Our Room was very comfortable with a Queen size bed and bathroom. Our room also provided us with an extra hiking backpack, a wine opener, wine glasses, an extra cooler, a lock box, a fan, hiking sticks, robes, toiletries, extra towels, makeup remover towels, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. All things that cannot be taken on a plane but yet are convenient to have on a trip to Jackson. Greg and Beth literally thought of everything a guest would want! The house also included maps and books that helped us plan our day adventures! The included breakfast was super tasty! Nutella filled french toast, eggs, quiche just to name a few. There is also a very comfortable deck we had access to off the back of the house. We enjoyed watching wildlife around the firepit one evening. I'd highly recommend staying at Jackson Hole Hideout!

The Jackson Hole Hideout provided an exceptional vacation experience. The home is truly beautiful, nestled atop a quiet hill that provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Enjoy the sunrise on your personal deck after an amazingly hearty, homemade breakfast. All the Hideout rooms are cozy yet spacious, and sufficiently stocked with everything you could need during your stay. Joe, the house chef, creates mouthwatering breakfasts every morning that will keep you well fueled for whatever adventures the day may hold. Additionally, he bakes fresh baked goods, and provides snacks and other goodies you can look forward to when you return home. He was incredibly helpful in providing insight into the surrounding area regarding fun things to do, beautiful places to visit, and different restaurants to try. If we ever had a question or need, he was always available to help. The Hideout is located close enough to downtown Jackson Hole to be convenient, yet also far enough that you can enjoy peace and quiet at the end of the day. The same can be said for Grand Teton National Park and the Jackson Hole ski areas. My husband and I vacationed here during the winter, however, I can imagine evenings spent on the decks there during the summer must be superb. I would recommend to any couple or small family that is planning to visit the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the hideout! Not only were our accommodations top-notch and fun, the whole house is gorgeous and immaculate! The location on top of the hill is perfect and offers tremendous views! The sunrises each morning from our deck with coffee were amazing! The breakfasts were cooked while we socialized with other guests in the kitchen/dining area which made the atmosphere feel cozy and like home and we shared our stories of our adventures from the day before. Coming "home" in the evening was great too! Bring home some takeout pizza and hang out in the kitchen, get a glass of wine (available in the guest refrigerator) and go out on the deck and look at the stars. All of this and we were within minutes of Jackson Hole! The hosts thought of absolutely EVERY need (right down to coolers and a backpack if you needed one!) We made out own lunches to take with us and borrowed one of the little playmate coolers (there are even icepacks in the freezer). We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!

Where do I even begin? From the moment we arrived, we knew that this place was going to be special. Tucked away in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle of Jackson Hole - it truly is the perfect escape. Joe met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the amazing property which is truly stunning. Each room is nicer than the next with a great common area (which we unfortunately never used) and great outdoor space, including a fire table. Joe and his incredible wife, Ellena, literally felt like family by the end of our stay. I still think about the breakfast we had each morning, that was cooked by Joe and Ellena. Each one was better than the next. You have everything you need here, and then some. Joe offered us binoculars, bear spray, homemade snacks, and offered plenty of recommendations on local hiking and dining. Stayed in the Wrangler Room and the Marshall Room during our stay and both were amazingly decorated and had great space. Especially loved the balcony of the Wrangler Room with the swing bench! It was extremely hard to leave the Hideout and we without a doubt will be visiting again!

We appreciate you reaching out to us. We occasionally have single travelers, as well as business travelers, friends and small families, who stay here at the Hideout. The setting is such that you can keep to yourself or mix and mingle.

We are staying in the Gunslinger room - are there 2 seperate rooms in this accomm?
Jackson Hole, Wyoming45 contributions
The suite has 2 rooms, a separate foyer / entry way and a private patio. One room has 2 Twin XLs that can be converted to a king bed, along with a sofa, 2 chairs and television. The second room has a king bed, corner window seat and the access to the shared bathroom with dual vanity and walk-in shower. A standard door separates the rooms, along with a shared wall that holds a closet for each room. It is a great set-up for families and close friends, and sleeps four comfortably.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming45 contributions
Our previous guests have provided some excellent responses. Definitely warmer in July than June, with very little humidity. Generally warm days (60s-80s F) and cool nights (40s-60s F). You can find monthly weather details at the Weather Channel and Mountain Weather. All of our guest rooms have windows - with screens - that open allowing the fresh, cool air to come inside. But shutting those windows, and even pulling down the blinds, during the middle part of the day helps keep the room temperatures quite comfortable. We also have tower fans that help with air circulation and provide some white noise. The Gunslinger Suite and the Marshal tend to be cooler than the other rooms which get more direct afternoon sunshine. Hope this helps!
